What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, American Grit divides a group of 17 men and women into four teams. John Cena and an elite group of military mentors (John Burk, Riki Long, Chloe Mondesir, and Grady Powell) will push the civilian competitors beyond their limits. While they have either lost their grit, or never had much, together, they will face a variety of military-grade and survival-themed challenges, on this reality series. In the end, one could win $250,000.00.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of American Grit averaged a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.12 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 38% and down by 44%, respectively. Find out how American Grit stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

The second season got off to a very poor start. Unless the ratings get better, I believe that American Grit will be cancelled and not renewed for a third season on FOX. Totally changed show from season 1 to 2. If you won a competition in season 1, you had immunity the week after. Season 2 changed format and strong people were voted in week after week, did not like that. Not watching season 3 if renewed, regardless.

Please bring American Grit back. I love it and I got all my friends to start watching it on season 2. We would hate for it to be cancelled. If everyone who watches it would tell all their friends about it, we could really get the ratings way up. It’s by far at the top of my reality tv list. Fox will absolutely lose fans if they do not renew this show. Stop with all these stupid comedies that last for endless seasons and keep the more real life shows. Demographics are becoming a new form of stereotyping. I am well above the age group that stations are trying to get to watch their shows, which is probably why I have started watching a lot more shows on other stations. If fox wants to run with the big dogs then they better give us what we want to see!
Love American Grit. Season one got me hooked, season two a little disappointed about the shows pick for trainers. Would love to see original cast members on season 3. In this time of overrated comedies and remakes of shows two decades old this show was a wonderful break from the original boring reality shows.

I absolutely loved American grit, best show ever. I really hope it is renewed.
I hope that there is a season 3. Since the 1st season, it has been my favorite thing to watch during the summer. The cadre doesn’t put up with anybody’s bullcrap. They always try to push the teams to do their best.
I stopped watching season 1 after a few episodes. Gave it another try with 2ndanne season and loved it. Was looking forward to 3rd season.
Please have a third season. Absolutely love this show. Love the support of the Cadres to help contestants find their inner strength. Met Hannah over the summer while on vacation. She is such a nice girl. What we watched was legit.
I sincerely hope they renew American Grit. I enjoy watching it very much. It is a highlight of my summer!!!
