Tragedy strikes Ax Men. TVLine reports Ax Men star Gabe Rygaard was killed in a car accident last week in his home state of Washington.
Earlier this year, Rygaard announced the History series had been cancelled after nine seasons. His family’s logging company was featured in the docuseries, which chronicled the logging industry of the Pacific Northwest.
In May, Rygaard posted a message on Facebook saying there would be no 10th season of Ax Men:
What do you think? Are you a fan of Ax Men? Are you sad about the recent news?
Yes I’m gonna miss the show watched it every week never missed a show since the very first episode of season 1 please bring it back
PLEASE bring back Ax Men! One of our favorite shows on the History Channel and we miss it!
Yes I will miss ax men. Tired of military and alien shows.
great show bring it back
With all the dirty and fowl shows on cable totally with sexual acts ands shooting and killings why would you take shows like Ax Men off the air at least these shows are a lot more enteraning also this is the types of jobs that actually helped to build this country. Our sympathies to the rygard family and friends.
Sorry to hear about Gabe, but he was not the only Ax man.. It was a good show, I hate to see a good show canceled.
I is a shame to cancel it better to honor Gabe by continuing the shows

One of the better shows! So sorry to hear about Gabe! Bring the show back!!
Sad Gabe died its horrible for his family but he and his father were ******** who treated people like ****!!!! Face reality
it must have cost too much to air the show, they had to pay all those loggers to do logging, and it must have caught up with them!!..
Put the show back on the air.
life goes on,,,,,,,thanks
Sorry to hear about The passing away of a Gabe. Such a tragedy. My family send our condolences to The Rygard Family. Since there will be no season 10 at least give us some air time in memory of him.
