DIY is headed back to the barn. This week, the network announced they’ve renewed Barnwood Builders for seasons five and six.
The home renovation series “stars Mark Bowe and his team of West Virginia master craftsmen as they carefully deconstruct centuries-old barns and cabins to build stunning modern homes.”
New episodes of Barnwood Builders are slated to premiere later this year.

New York [For Immediate Release – January 30, 2017] DIY Network has ordered 26 more episodes of its popular series Barnwood Builders. The series, which has attracted more than 3.6 million total viewers a month since it premiered in March 2015, stars Mark Bowe and his team of West Virginia master craftsmen as they carefully deconstruct centuries-old barns and cabins to build stunning modern homes. The new episodes will premiere in 2017.”

We are absolutely overjoyed that DIY has had the good sense to renew our favorite show. We just love these guys! They each represent all that is good in a human being, and that is so refreshing to see. We learn something with every show. We try to catch the reruns, but we look forward to more and more seasons. I don’t care for the show. Mark laughs way to much at his own jokes. That’s the reason I quit watching the show.
Yes I loyal watcher, yes I am a huge fan, yes im so happy it’s coming back, and a season 6! There should be more, it also teaches history and old time building of cabins

I love this show! It is the only build/rebuild show I watch , they are so down to earth great looking crew!

Bottom line – I’ve watched enough of these fellas they’re family. Keep them – keep them… keep them. Only thing to change is get Alex and Max on the intros in the beginning
We have been waiting on our Barnwood (BROTHERS) Builders new season. Can’t wait for our favorite show to get put back on. Does anybody know when it will be aired?
