Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
Bring it back please
I didn’t have cable TV at the time so I would have to record episode over my mothers house and wait until I could go over there to watch them ,But I was faithful . I’ve been searching everywhere for the second season … I know now my search was futile . The show was nice while it lasted it was so refreshing to watch something with substance unlike all this “reality” bull nowadays .
I cant believe this show is not coming back for another season. My daughter and i watched together ever week and had been waiting for season 2 now i have to disappoint her by telling her no season 2. I thought this was one of the best shows on tv and so did my 11 year old.
50% of the people work double shifts, so they can’t watch it, it was a great show to watch…..
Plzzzz make a new season I loved that believe
To bad it was cancelled. I was trying to set the DVR ready for season two. This show had the makings of the hit series HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN. It was about time we saw good morals on Television and a positive message about helping others. Probably why it got shelved! Don’t want people to think it’s ok to help your fellow man.
It was a decent show if given more of a chance would have caught on. It amazes me that networks cancel shows people actually like and keep the crap show. Good Job of taking another show down
NBC is doing it again. Like Star Trek and so many other good series, Canceling this show removes all doubt at the stupidity of “Network executives”. They cancel good shows for bad. They continue to pave the way for other networks like the Family Channel who also try there best to try to drive writers crazy trying to come up with new and interesting plots, only to have them prematurely canceled.
This is why I’m over NBC. They always cancel shows i enjoyed watching…Believe, Crisis… What’s next, cancelling the news?! They may add well go off the air!
Is NBC insane? Believe and Crisis were better than what’s on right now with ONE exception “THE BLACKLIST’. If CBS cancelled Intelligence their people are a little brain soft too. The very worst in TV history was “LEVERAGE” being taken off the air. As far as Believe and Crisis, I was just starting to really get in to those 2 shows. So, I’ve checked out a couple up to date shows, but they don’t hold my interest like Believe and Crisis. I hope The Blacklist is on for a really long time and tell James Spader and Megan Boone I… Read more »
I really loved this show, I can not believe they did not change to a week day. If it’s not filth or sex they will take it off. I do not watch the channel anymore nothing good on it. Nell Norwood
Man this sad The Event, Revolution, now The Believe. … All was Good shows
NBC stop putting shows out I’m tired of getting my heart broken.
You cannot PLEASE the world. I just came to the point
not to watch any shows on NBC.
I think it was awesome would love to watch another season
This is really sad. not many family shows on the air. Either shoot em up, or foul language. This young actress is quiet entertaining. Real good story lines.
Very sorry to hear this.
I cannot believe this…..Revolution and now this…what is NBC viewers watching…..just ridiculous and sad! Now I have nothing to watch :/
I would like to have seen this continue but with a few cast changes and different writers. One of the actors seemed genetically determined to overact every scene he was in and if I had to hear him one more time pound every once of sincerity he could muster into the word ‘believe’ I was going to vomit. The writers seemed to bring a philosophy of life to the show that is about on a par with My Little Pony or Rainbows and Unicorns and if they were going to pump more of that pap then best they go puff.… Read more »
