It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
BLTN, This was a real feel fun show. I couldn’t stop laughing along with the adventure each week. Netflix or someone give these guys another 2 more seasons please.
This was such a great show. Looked forward to it every week. Also, the seasons didn’t have enough episodes. NEED MORE!
NBC has got it wrong! We need Better Late Than Never back. I love the sbhow.
Come on! We finally get a decent, fun reality show and you have to cancel it! These guys were the best to watch. Please bring it back!!!!!!!!!!
What kind of brain dead idiots cancel a show this good ??
So disappointed that NBC was short sighted ..chose to cancel instead of trying different time slots….. amazon Netflix’s need to pick this show up for a new season. It has a big following among those that are tired of game shows or drama
So sad this show was cancelled, they really need to bring it back. It was the one and only show that my teenage twin boys watched with me that was entertaining to us all. Dont understand why it’s gone and so many other crap shows are still on
I was SO DISAPPOINTED to read that this show was cancelled!!!! I honestly believe that if there weren’t enough viewers, it was because marketing the show was poor. NONE of my friends even knew about it in year one. Year two they remembered me talking about it but didn’t see any advertisements and didn’t watch until I told them where and when to view it! They all loved it once they say an episode. Again, I am beyond disappointed.
AW…. Was waiting for season 3. Really enjoyed the show.
I’m very disappointed to hear better late hen never has Been cancelled, the show gave me great enjoyment and laughter, not many shows give you the gift of laughter, please bring the show back
Best show in a long time!!! PLEASE find another station to keep this going. LOVE LOVE LOVE these guys. So much fun and soooooo funny!!!
I can’t believe BLTN has been cancelled and boring, ridiculous shows are being renewed. We finally get a show thats clean and actually funny with great entertainers and it gets cancelled. NBC please stop catering to the millennials and listen to the people who have been watching tv before technology took over. How about keeping the good, funny, family shows on for a change. There are way too many dark or ridiculous “reality” shows with political statements and sex scenes on right now. How about something uplifting for a change? I’m so disappointed. I hope another network picks this show… Read more »
I am so crushed that Better Late Than Never was canceled. I have been waiting all this time for the new season to begin. Every time NBC has something decent on, they cancel it. Been doing that for years now. I guess if a show doesn’t have boring actors or sex on it, NBC won’t renew! Shame on you NBC for canceling a fun and clean show. I’m sure we’ll be seeing some crappy, unfunny, or explicit show in its place now. I’ll be sure and skip your channel from now on. I’m disappointed beyond belief. I hope another network… Read more »
Waiting for season 3!!!! When will this happen? Told friends about the series, they hadn’t heard of it. Needs more plublicity, it was really entertaining.
Loved the show. Sure wish it was coming back. What about Netflix or Prime!
