Orange Is the New Black‘s Alysia Reiner has been cast in a recurring role in the Better Things TV series, at FX. The network ordered Better Things to series, back in August 2015. Better Things is co-created by star Pamela Adlon, who is executive producing with co-creator Louis C.K., Blair Breard, Dave Becky and 3 Arts Entertainment.
The series features Sam (Adlon), a working actor who lacks a filter. Sam tries to earn a living and raise her three daughters, while still maintaining some semblance of a personal life. Per Deadline, Reiner has been cast as Sam’s friend, Sunny.
