Could season 10 be the end of The Big Bang Theory? Jim Parsons recently addressed the future of the popular CBS sitcom during NBC’s tribute to TV director James Burrows.
Burrows directed both the unaired and aired pilot for The Big Bang Theory back in 2007.
During the interview, Bill Nye (who guest starred on the CBS sitcom) asked the cast if they had at least one more season in store. Parsons revealed little:
If I knew, I’d tell you. I don’t know what’s happening.
So far, it’s been confirmed the sitcom will have at least one more season. And it’s likely there will be more after that. Season nine ratings are still high, with an average of 15.656 million viewers per episode.
The 200th episode of The Big Bang Theory, which will feature Adam West, is set to air this week.

What do you think? Do you still watch The Big Bang Theory? Do you think it should end after next season or continue?
I hope it has at least 11 or 12 seasons I just started watching with Season 9 episode 6 The Helium Insufficiency on October 26 2015
While I hate it when a show continues past its expiration date, limping along until inevitable cancellation, this show is not yet near that point. I think 15+ million viewers is a good indication people are still enjoying it, and there are many more stories left to tell. There’s plenty of time for them to decide when they want to quit and still go out at the top of their game. Remember when Friends ended? NBC STILL hasn’t recovered from the loss. I haven’t missed a TBBT episode yet and don’t intend to stop watching now.
This is one of the only decent comedies on the various networks so hopefully it will continue as they are still going strong.
