Is Tracee Ellis Ross leaving Black-ish? According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sitcom star may reduce her screen time on the ABC series if it’s renewed for a fifth season.
Ross plays Dr. Rainbow “Bow” Johnson on the comedy alongside fellow co-stars Anthony Anderson, Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Miles Brown, Marsai Martin, Peter Mackenzie, Jeff Meacham, Jenifer Lewis, Deon Cole, and Laurence Fishburne.
According to THR, Black-ish is currently in negotiations for a fifth season and Ross wants to decrease the pay disparity between herself and co-star Anthony Anderson. Apparently, Ross is being paid “significantly less” despite her status as the show’s co-lead.
If disparity continues, Ross will reportedly appear in fewer episodes of the ABC series’ possible fifth season.
What do you think? Do you watch Black-ish? Do you think Ross should receive equal pay?
Tracey is an invaluable asset to the show. Pay the lady!!
Pay the woman, she’s great, this is 2018!
I would be very disapointed if Tracee either leaves the show over pay disparities or her character is missing from the show for any amount of time! I would consider not remaining a loyal fan! How about :ME TOO!”
This is BS they should be getting the same pay… I say you stand your ground Ms Tracee Ellis Ross❤️
I find this show sometimes funny, sometimes stupid. Of course equal pay is very important and NO REASON that should not happen !
ABC, y’all need to tighten up. Y’all need to pay Tracee and Anthony the same. I love her on this show. I want more of her, not less.
Her pay should match Anthony Anderson’s
