TV show description:
This comedy series takes place at the fictional Blue Mountain State university and its football team, The Mountain Goats.
Coach Marty Daniels (Ed Marinaro) is a six-time national champion football coach from New Jersey, and is a pillar of the BMS community. Formerly a running back for the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys, he dates his sex-crazed ex-wife, Debra (Denise Richards).
Kevin “Thad” Castle (Alan Ritchson) is a Senior linebacker and team captain from Connecticut. Despite his status as a two-time All-American and team record holder for most tackles in a game, Thad’s bullying and antics often annoy his teammates.
Alex Moran (Darin Brooks) is a Junior starting quarterback and acting captain from Cheyenne, Wyoming. He’s content to spend his days as a back-up player and plans to spend life as an “Average Joe” once he graduates from college.
Also from Cheyenne, Sammy Cacciatore (Chris Romano) pays the team mascot, Billy the Mountain Goat. He’s also Alex’s roommate, childhood friend, and Mary Jo’s half brother. Sammy’s constantly searching for girls and excuses to get drunk.
Mary Jo Cacciatore (Frankie Shaw) is Sammy’s younger sister. A cheerleader, she’s ditsy and interested in handsome Alex, whom she’s known since childhood.
Radon Randell (Page Kennedy) is a freshman starting quarterback from Detroit, Michigan. His talent is matched only by his outrageous behavior and ego. He’s served time in prison and has a hyperbaric chamber in his dorm room
A running back from Columbus, Ohio, Craig Shilo (Sam Jones III) is a star freshman player who’s straight-laced and committed to his ultra-manipulative girlfriend Denise (Gabrielle Dennis), a former homecoming queen and star business student. Their relationship comes to an end when he discovers that she’s cheating on him. He eventually transfers to Georgia Tech.
Episode 39 — Corn Field, part two
Following BMS’ losing the Bowl Game because their starters were benched for breaking NCAA rules, the BMS starters challenged the Blackwell starters to another game. In the series finale, the corn field game continues.
First aired: November 30, 2011.
