Despite a valiant effort, The Brave TV show has been cancelled by NBC. In this instance, the 13-episode first season wasn’t a sign of certain cancellation, as a shorter season aways the plan for this series. In November, after some early gains in the Nielsens, the Peacock Network was even touting the show’s ratings, but they later dropped off and weren’t strong enough to score a season two renewal.
An NBC military drama, The Brave stars Anne Heche, Mike Vogel, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas. The series centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. Back in their Washington D.C. headquarters, D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Heche) oversees the unit which provides support and analysis for Dalton and company.

The Brave cancellation has been confirmed by Deadline, which notes three military dramas premiered on broadcast networks, this year. Although both The Brave and Valor (The CW) were cancelled, SEAL Team was renewed for a second season on CBSCBS.

The Brave was a great, fresh series that was much better than Seal Team. Acting talent abounded and the writing was interesting and very believable. The Jazz character had a place of honor and respect and the rest of the team got you invested in their lives quickly. SO sorry it was cancelled!
There are not many shows my husband and I watch together but this one we both loved. All episodes were intense and I imagine close to reality. The cast was great and had chemistry. We are very disappointed that The Brave was cancelled when there are other crap shows still on.
Of the three The Brave, Valor and Seal Team, the Brave was the best followed by Valor then the Seal Team. all three were excellent shows, can’t believe the Networks didn’t realize this!
This show was the best. I watched every episode. Seal Team is great. SWAT is mediocre. The Brave tops both ten times over. How could you do this.

Some of the crap is still on. This was a big mistake. I think this is a much better show than Seal Team. Please put it back on.
What idiot pulled the plug on The Brave?? Big mistake people, big mistake. Just as good as anything else on NBC.
I don’t understand why a show as good as this was cancelled and stupid crap like The Roseanne show is brought back from the dead (it should have stayed buried). The Brave was intense, nail biting every episode and me and my family looked foward to it every Monday night – very poor decision on the networks side to cancel this one!!!!!
why, why, why NBC? I think this how had promise I’m going to miss Jasmine the sniper and the rest of the team. May this show have a good rest in peace in TV show heaven.
I loved the show The Brave and can’t believe it was cancelled. Someone else please pick it up! It was fresh and relevant to our current world and not just another tired police drama. Bring it back!
Yes, it is a lot like the Navy Seal program with they guy from Bones who must be a deal breaker because that show is not better than this one. I really liked it. There is room for two military programs. Who does these rating? Do you consider how many people record, or watch on streaming devices? Shame on you for pulling the plug on good programs but continuing with all the stupid game shows and reality shows that just keep dummying down everyone.
I’m sad that both The Brave and Valour were cancelled. So happy at least they kept Seal Team. With all the fire, police and Dr shows that are on TV these three shows were a very nice addition. This is why I hate watching new shows for their first season. They get you hooked and then cancel them. I’m a sucker though I keep watching first seasons.
I really enjoyed The Brave, the characters and each week’s storyline kept me coming back! I also liked this better than Seal Team which I think I only watched once if that.
The Brave was a good show much better than Seal Team. The acting and stories were interesting especially Anne Heche,s character. Hopefully another network will give it a chance.
I really enjoyed this series. Watched all episodes and rewatched several as well. So disappointed it will not be back. Could another network possibly pick it up?
