Despite a valiant effort, The Brave TV show has been cancelled by NBC. In this instance, the 13-episode first season wasn’t a sign of certain cancellation, as a shorter season aways the plan for this series. In November, after some early gains in the Nielsens, the Peacock Network was even touting the show’s ratings, but they later dropped off and weren’t strong enough to score a season two renewal.
An NBC military drama, The Brave stars Anne Heche, Mike Vogel, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas. The series centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. Back in their Washington D.C. headquarters, D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Heche) oversees the unit which provides support and analysis for Dalton and company.

The Brave cancellation has been confirmed by Deadline, which notes three military dramas premiered on broadcast networks, this year. Although both The Brave and Valor (The CW) were cancelled, SEAL Team was renewed for a second season on CBSCBS.

I show was really good and compared to the show Seal Team. It was actually more accurate in how a Seal Team works. It was way more believable and I’m sure if given the chance it would be a hit. Only having a few shows for a first season wasn’t enough time to get people into it. It was something special.

We REALLY loved this show. We are so disappointed in NBC for canceling such a wonderful show. Keep it up NBC and people won’t be watching your station, as there won’t be any good show left!!!

My husband and I really liked this show. It had a different twist of the military action shows. We think it should be brought back for another season!
This was a great show, quality action. Much better than Seal Team on CBS. Bring it back and not on Monday to compete with Football.
The Brave is an excellent show, I do not understand why it was cancelled. My husband is a sports nut, this is the only television series he would watch! That should tell you how good it is. Bring back the Brave!
This show is great! I don’t understand how this show is cancelled yet the Seal Team, which is a good show but not nearly as good as The Brave is still on. What was the thinking about this decision. It doesn’t make sense. Uhh

The Brave is one of the best Military shows I have ever come across and deserves better than to be cancelled after one season. I am not an expert on ratings and such, but there was a quality of learning in that show, this decision needs to be re looked. I am really heart broken to find this out.
The Brave was a great show and very disappointed that it was not renewed. It was different enough from SEAL team to maintain it’s own interest. Boo to NBC
I loved the Brave! I used to watch pretty much all CBS and in the past few years started watching a few series on NBC and ABC but every single series I really liked has been cancelled. I will stick with SWAT and Criminal Minds on CBS. Other than the Voice and This Is Us, no more NBC!
Who decides what shows stay or go? The networks are obviously asking the wrong people! The Brave is an excellent show! So are many others that have been canceled for no good reason, so another stupid realty show like the proposal can get air time! People enjoy real television, not stupid junk TV SHOWS!
