Despite a valiant effort, The Brave TV show has been cancelled by NBC. In this instance, the 13-episode first season wasn’t a sign of certain cancellation, as a shorter season aways the plan for this series. In November, after some early gains in the Nielsens, the Peacock Network was even touting the show’s ratings, but they later dropped off and weren’t strong enough to score a season two renewal.
An NBC military drama, The Brave stars Anne Heche, Mike Vogel, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas. The series centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. Back in their Washington D.C. headquarters, D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Heche) oversees the unit which provides support and analysis for Dalton and company.

The Brave cancellation has been confirmed by Deadline, which notes three military dramas premiered on broadcast networks, this year. Although both The Brave and Valor (The CW) were cancelled, SEAL Team was renewed for a second season on CBSCBS.

Sad to see this show cancelled. This is why NBC is not my favorite channel.
I am sorry to learn that The Brave was cancelled. Seems intelligent shows don’t make it on tv. Very disappointing.

This show was so much better than the other military shows. The actors were spot on and the shows terrific!
I am truly sad to hear The Brave has been cancelled. I was so excited to watch season 2 only to find out it will never happen! Seal Team is ok, but it doesn’t compare to how good this show was. Very devastated!

I’m upset that they have cancelled the show, I thought it was a great show and was surprised it was cancelled. I like The Seals show but the Brave was much better. I’m hoping another network will pick it up even Netflix!
We looooooved this show. We felt betrayed when the network cancelled it. We do not understand why. Please bring it back!

I’m so sad to hear this news…. The Brave was a very good show. I couldn’t wait to see the next episode…. Now we will never know what happened to Jazz:-(
