Despite a valiant effort, The Brave TV show has been cancelled by NBC. In this instance, the 13-episode first season wasn’t a sign of certain cancellation, as a shorter season aways the plan for this series. In November, after some early gains in the Nielsens, the Peacock Network was even touting the show’s ratings, but they later dropped off and weren’t strong enough to score a season two renewal.
An NBC military drama, The Brave stars Anne Heche, Mike Vogel, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas. The series centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. Back in their Washington D.C. headquarters, D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Heche) oversees the unit which provides support and analysis for Dalton and company.

The Brave cancellation has been confirmed by Deadline, which notes three military dramas premiered on broadcast networks, this year. Although both The Brave and Valor (The CW) were cancelled, SEAL Team was renewed for a second season on CBSCBS.

Great show! This was by far a better show than Seal team! Big mistake to cancel this show!
I watched the brave and Seal Team on CBS. I found the Brave to be a much better show. It wasn’t the same story every week. It was a mistake to let this one go.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I don’t know why great shows are always cancelled and yet the below average ones renewed

I still can’t believe that NBC in cancelling THE BRAVE, one of the best shows on TV right now. Netflix please pick up this show and you won’t be sorry.

Of the 3 military shows The Brave was the best. I hope it can come back on a different network since NBC does not want it back.

The chemistry among the cast of The Brave is the best I’ve ever seen on a TV show. It is by far the best of the 3 military dramas shown. Seal Team is ok, but it doesn’t approach The Brave at all. The cancellation of this show is a HUGE misstep for NBC.

Very disappointed that The Brave was cancelled. Very smart show with emphasis on missions more than back stories. Although I’m a huge fan of David Boreanez, Seal Team just doesn’t have the punch that The Brave does.
I am so disappointed in The Brave’s cancellation. This is a smart, AWESOME show, that actually led to surprising storylines. NBC sucks.
