Despite a valiant effort, The Brave TV show has been cancelled by NBC. In this instance, the 13-episode first season wasn’t a sign of certain cancellation, as a shorter season aways the plan for this series. In November, after some early gains in the Nielsens, the Peacock Network was even touting the show’s ratings, but they later dropped off and weren’t strong enough to score a season two renewal.
An NBC military drama, The Brave stars Anne Heche, Mike Vogel, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas. The series centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. Back in their Washington D.C. headquarters, D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Heche) oversees the unit which provides support and analysis for Dalton and company.

The Brave cancellation has been confirmed by Deadline, which notes three military dramas premiered on broadcast networks, this year. Although both The Brave and Valor (The CW) were cancelled, SEAL Team was renewed for a second season on CBSCBS.

This was the best story of saving people over in other countries. It was ingenious the way they
interacted. The stories were fantastic. Sorry to see this one go. Too many fluff shows around..

NBC should be embarrassed. Renew so many garbage shows and then cancel this one that was compelling with quality acting. The best special ops show on TV. Pathetic NBC
Guess I shouldn’t be surprised most of the better shows get cancelled and the so called comedies
(which are really just insult slinging at certain people groups) stay on..

The Brave is a much better show than Valor or Seals. It has more direct relation with all various government permissions etc. that are invoked and impacted. Plus the actors are great and they have the ability for more story lines. Valor had one story line almost the whole season like soap opera, sticks. You can’t go as far with the Seal Team, which I do not watch either but do watch the Brave on Netflix. This is very disappointing.
Brave was a good show I don’t understand why you canceling it. Every time something good comes on TV everybody cancels them doesn’t make any sense you guys keep the trash and then you get rid of the good stuff please put it back on TV it was a good show

Terrible decision on the part of the network to cancel this show. I have stopped watching Seal Team as it was nowhere as well done and that is the one that gets kept! Ratings aren’t everything, give us intelligent TV.

Loved the Brave, thought it was just a bit “prettier” than seal team, but loved it none the less. I still binge watch it occasionally on line at the nbc site. Really wish it had a longer 1st season…
I have been waiting patiently for season 2 and hadn’t seen anything, so I decided to look it up and found it had been canceled. very disappointed.
Very disappointing. I very much enjoyed the show and the cast. I was looking forward to the next season.
So disappointed to hear of The Brave’s cancellation. Had a novel premise, excellent writing, wonderful cast. Far better quality than Seal Team on same network. Perhaps w/ better time slot, ratings could improve.
