Despite a valiant effort, The Brave TV show has been cancelled by NBC. In this instance, the 13-episode first season wasn’t a sign of certain cancellation, as a shorter season aways the plan for this series. In November, after some early gains in the Nielsens, the Peacock Network was even touting the show’s ratings, but they later dropped off and weren’t strong enough to score a season two renewal.
An NBC military drama, The Brave stars Anne Heche, Mike Vogel, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas. The series centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. Back in their Washington D.C. headquarters, D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Heche) oversees the unit which provides support and analysis for Dalton and company.

The Brave cancellation has been confirmed by Deadline, which notes three military dramas premiered on broadcast networks, this year. Although both The Brave and Valor (The CW) were cancelled, SEAL Team was renewed for a second season on CBSCBS.

So a show/program that makes the viewer think about what is going on is canceled! But more brain dead dribble is renewed? I just don’t get it!

Valorcwas a crappy show but “THE BRAVE” was an excellent show.
I loved the cast, the characters, and the story lines.
My husband and I enjoyed the show together and I had my DVD set to record automatically so we wouldn’t miss a single episode.
Why do you always cancel shows that are entertaining?!

This is a great show! It was one that both my husband and I really enjoyed watching. Loved all the characters! So NBC cancels The Brave but renews brain dead, crappy shows? It appears that is because NBC is run by the brain dead! Oh well, our opinion doesn’t count so it won’t matter to them that we will no longer watch their network.
Really enjoyed The Brave. Hopefully NBC corrects this mistake!

I liked The Brave the most among the three copycat military series. I will definitely miss it. Upcoming shows like this should think twice about airing in the peacock channel. They’re out of touch.
This is not cool. This show was by far the best show on NBC. It had a solid following and it’s ratings were decent. I feel this show should have been renewed. It probably would have done better ratings wise if it was on a different day and time slot. Why was this option not explored? Not happy with this decision at all.
This was a great show. What is NBC thinking or maybe they’re not. I will miss this show. They keep the crap and cancel the good ones.
I am really sorry to see the show cancelled. I really liked the entire cast and found the storyline compelling. I’m really happy I bought the season from Amazon so I can rewatch it.
NBC execs needs to get their heads out of their butts and fix this grave mistake! This is a quality show with a loyal fan base!
I am very disappointed that “The Brave” has been cancelled. It was one of only a very few broadcast series that I was not embarrassed to watch with my family, as well as paying respect to those who serve to protect us. Maybe it was not 100% accurate depiction, but it made people feel good about our service. Why are they cancelling shows like this and keep putting Saturday Night Live skits on prime time?!?!? I hope the cast from the show all the best and would like to thank them for being a part of this great program.
I’m very upset. I loved The Brave – one of the best shows on NBC. The cast was great – some unknowns but so many better than the “stars” on other shows. I am. It in the 18-49 bracket. I’m well last retiremant age and I loved it – looked forward to it every week. And I’m a female
I loved “The Brave” and it in my opinion was the best show of the 2017 season. It had good acting, riveting action and patriotism as well as showing how dangerous the lives of those brave people can be. I think it is a crime NBC canceled it due to lackluster ratings. If NBC has given this show half a chance I’m sure it’s ratings would have gone up. I believe if the show had been on CBS it would not have been canceled. I loved this show! One of the few I looked forward to each week!! So disappointing they get rid of the good shows and don’t even give them a real chance to get off the ground.
