It looks like Demetrius Grosse is moving on. Deadline reports the Brave star has been cast in a new CBS pilot called Chiefs.
Gross will play Deputy Clem Bryant on the cop drama, which “explores the professional and personal lives of three driven, successful but very different women who are each Chiefs of Police of their own precincts in L.A. County.” The cast also includes Aunjanue Ellis, Alana De La Garza, and Jorja Fox.
It’s unclear what this means for The Brave. NBC has yet to renew the military drama and ratings weren’t especially strong during its first season, which wrapped in January. Overall, the season averaged a .92 rating in the 18-49 demo and 4.616 million viewers.

The Brave’s 1st season was amazing and can’t wait and hope for a lot more. The addition of a female soldier in the role portrayed was a bold move and long overdue. Not to mention a show about something other than all the (elite) Navy show out there.
I like it. It reminds me of the show TAKEN 1 & 2. I love all those special ops CIA hitman for hire type of shows or movies. Bring it back but with some new characters instead.
So sorry to hear he’s moving from The Brave. The show should be continued with him a part of it. There are way too many cop shows on tv now.

Love love love The Brave. It was the best new series on this season. Great cast/acting and storylines. It will be very sad if it isn’t renewed, but NBC is famous for dumping good shows and showing junk.
