Crime drama Breakout Kings is being renewed for a second season A&E reports Deadline. Production is expected to begin later this year and season two could begin airing as early as the first quarter of 2012.
The series stars Laz Alonso and Domenick Lombardozzi as a pair of United States Marshals who make deals with prisoners to catch escaped convicts. In exchange for their help, the prisoners see their sentences reduced and are transferred to a minimum security facility. If they try to escape, they’re returned to their original prisons and their sentences are doubled. Others in the cast include Brooke Nevin, Malcolm Goodwin, Serinda Swan, Jimmi Simpson.
The March premiere of Breakout Kings set a record with the highest 18-49 demo rating for a drama on the cable channel with 1.5 million adults 18-49 years old and 2.8 million total viewers.
The third episode featured the return of Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell (Robert Knepper), a popular character from FOX’s Prison Break series.

Yes it was a horrible shock that Charlie died but Ray kept his team together and the last episode left every one wonder what happened. Did the team tell on Ray cause my best bet is not cause everyone wanted that guy who killed Charlie dead but Ray wasn’t going to kill him but the guy pushed him way to far and the guy thought he could taunt the team with Charlie’s death but that smirk was too much.
