Actress Pauley Perrette enjoyed a 15 season run on CBS’ extremely successful NCIS series. Now, she has a new series called Broke. Will viewers accept her in this new comedy role and bring big ratings? Will Broke be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
A family comedy, the Broke TV show stars Perrette, Jaime Camil, Natasha Leggero, Izzy Diaz, and Antonio Raul Corbo. The series follows a single suburban mother named Jackie (Perrette) who’s struggling to make ends meet while raising her young son, Sammy (Corbo). Their lives are turned upside down when Jackie’s estranged sister, Elizabeth (Leggero); her sister’s big-hearted, Latin husband, Javier (Camil); and Javier’s fiercely loyal assistant/driver/friend, Luis (Diaz), land on her doorstep. The threesome is in need of a place to live after Javier’s outrageously wealthy father cuts them off and Jackie’s place is about to feel a whole lot smaller.

It’s a great show chemistry from the start laughs, lessons, and character growth the show had it all. I’m going to really miss it
I loved this show, I don’t understand why the network wouldn’t give this show a second season. At least give the show time and room to improve, this sucks.
As someone who had a wonderful childhood being raised in Reseda, I am sick of the constant Reseda bashing. It is not funny and makes me angry. I never laughed once during the whole show.
These are not people. These are hyperbolic caricatures of people. They are trying so hard to be funny, it’s exhausting. The only genuine character is the little kid, but he’s not enough to keep me watching. Bye, bye.
I thot the show left a lot to be desired. I thot it dull and in the same vein as Broke Girls , but less funny. Characters are dull.
The show is awful. Were the in-laws now living with them the executives fired from WB/CBS for cancelling GOD FRIENDED ME?
I agree, this show is just awful… and not funny in the least. And yes, they canceled one of everyone’s favorites, GOD FRIENDED ME! All those yuppie execs need to be fired and replaced with ones that have sense!
I really was disappointed. I don’t like the character that is played by Pauley Perrette. They don’t make her attractive or give her a good personality. The main character needs to have have one of those traits. She is to talented and deserves better than than this.
This show is awful.
I think Broke is a great show. I have been following Jaime Camil for years and I find his character very refreshing and very funny. I love the whole cast and together incredibly funny I will love To see Broke in its second season. I know there has only been 3 episodes, but it was enough for me. Great show!! I love it!
I thought this show was terrible – what a waste of a great talent like Pauley Perrette. My husband and I could only watch half before switching the channel because we thought it was so bad.

I was really hoping this was going to be good sitcom. Pauley is a talented actress. I made it through 15 minutes and found it not funny and very boring.
Ugh! Not funny; stupid. I turned it off after about 10 minutes. Sorry!
I don’t think anyone wants to watch a show about people with financial hardships right now. Didn’t seem very funny
Love “Abby” but was not impressed with BROKE. Sorry…it just isn’t funny…and the canned laughter is awful. 🙁
