Is The Catch coming to an end for good? Recently, ABC released new details for the TV show’s upcoming season two (and possibly series) finale.
From executive producer Shonda Rhimes, the drama follows a game of cat and mouse between private investigator, Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos), and the man she loves, the elusive con artist, Benjamin Jones (Peter Krause). The cast also includes Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Rose Rollins, Sonya Walger, Elvy Yost, and John Simm.
It’s still unclear if ABC will renew The Catch for a third season, but the odds are slim. The show’s second season is really struggling in the ratings. So far, the season is averaging a .70 in the 18-49 demo and 3.419 million viewers, making it one of the network’s lowest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.
When we asked viewers if the show should be cancelled, 75% said “No! It’s a great show.” Guess we’ll have to wait and see what ABC thinks.
The season two finale of The Catch premieres on May 11th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

I Love the Catch. The story lines are great as are all the actors. his one of the better shows. PLEASE RENEW.
I love this show! Please don’t cancel it. I’m so tired of all of the good shows being cancelled before they can finally develop an audience because they are debuted on the most competitive nights in a network’s evening, or up against shows that have been on the air for years and have a strong following. No one is going to stop watching that long running favorite to watch a start up show. It never stood a chance in the Thursday night line up.
The Catch has THE BEST lines & plot twists!

I love the series. Love the cast please keep it going. It’s such a joy to watch tv with no vampires no supernatural and no swearing. I look forward to watching this show at the end of the day. Love the story line
It’s a novel spin on the cop/thief ‘relationship. I’d love to see the series continue for another season.

I love M Enos & P Krause but this show lost some steam when it became a rom-com this season. Fun stories with the British crowd but don’t know where it can go.

I have watched it & no I do not continue to watch it nor would I watch a new season. Modern day version of Get Smart!!! Terrible!!!
It would be great if they cancelled it. It should have been cancelled last season. The ratings have been atrocious since the beginning. How many pathetically rated shows can ABC keep? This is a Shonda DUD! A stinker. Time to move on. A season of CASTLE without Stana Katic would have done better.
Be a drag if they cancel this, big fan of both Mireille Enos and Peter Kraus. Great show, hope they keep it.
