NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

Love the show! When will networks learn to stop ******** with timeslots. When they move days or times people can’t find it and of course ratings go down.
Give it a chance! And seriously…a Minute to Win It in it’s place??!!! Seriously??!
I always watch and love this show. Are ratings counted for DVR viewing. Unfortunately there are three shows on at the same time and I can’t watch them all at once so I always DVR Chase and Hawaii 5-0 and watch Castle. I hope this show can be revived. Does NCB see these comments?
It is one of the better shows onTV, much better than Minute To Win It which is getting very old very quickly
Chase is the only show on TV right now that both my husband and I really enjoy. He loves action shows and this is the best one to come along since 24 finished. Please don’t cancel the show!!!!!
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this show….and I agree with some of the others in that its one of the very few shows my husband and I would watch together! Not to mention, there aren’t that many other shows that contain a female badass like Annie. I also love that its not a show that you need to watch from the first episode to hop right in…sort of like Law & Order. Please don’t take it off the air! It will be such a loss!
My husband and I loved Chase. We would like to know how you can expect ANY show to develop a following when you pre-empt it every couple of weeks and move it to a new night and then air it once, then pre-empt it the next week, then air it the next week, then drop it. CAN NOT BELIEVE THEY ARE CANCELLING THIS SHOW IT IS GREAT AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING IT EVERY WEEK. THEY KEEP THE GOOFEY SHOWS AND LET THE GREAT ONES GO….

I agree, NBC should NOT cancel CHASE. It’s a great show that my husband and I both LOVE to watch – DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!!!!
I used to look forward to watching Chase each week and think NBC has made a big mistake by taking it off air. I hope someone else like USA Network or one of the others picks this good show up.
I can not believe that you have canceled chase.. It was a good show on NBC… There is not much tv shows i watch on NBC anymore… truely dissapointed. PLEASE BRING CHASE BACK!!!
NBC- My husband and I love this show! Please, please do not cancel it. There are not that many shows that we can watch together and both be happy- this is one of them! Love it!
I felt that Chase was one of the better shows I’d seen in a long time. It’s only problem was that it was put up against the new Hawaii Five-O. I actually DVR’d both shows & my husband & I loved “Chase.” I will be sad if its cancelled & replaced with a game show:(

crossed that The Powers That Be reconsider
and put Chase, which we think is the best thing
on TV since “24” ended, back in production.
