NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

I love “Chase” and watched it every week, and if I missed an episode I would catch up online. I don’t understand why they would replace a good action/drama series for a game show. I hope NBC brings it back. I don’t think they gave it a fair shake, especially once changed the time-slot.
Please don’t cancel this show. Love the characters! Annie is a tough, take-charge lady, Jimmy is so cute, and the others are equally interesting. Put it in a good time slot, and leave it there.
I looked forward to Chase. I liked the characters and thought the format of the show worked. Please bring it back!
It doesn’t make any sense… Maybe another network could pick up the show and appreciate it… It was a comparison to 24. I look forward to watching this show every week… I love this show… Every time you get comfortable watching a show on NBC- the show gets cancelled. Again- great show cancelled for nothing….

I cant believe there are canceling that show. I love the show. Finally a new show that was intense and suspenseful. I compared it to a cross between Manhunters and The Shield. I hope another network would pick it up.
I can’t beleive this show has been cancelled..what are they thinking?? This is an awesome show, they need to bring it back and give it a chance. They need to advertise it more, maybe that is what the problem was. Every week I’ve been searching hoping to see it back on but I can never find it. I thought I would investigate and now I find that they cancelled it. Very sad, very disappointing because I loved this show.

I will miss chase. They are canceling all my favorite shows. Trams and mercy I will also miss. Wow

The show got better as it went on. The first several episodes were poorly written. The villain was always a crazy/insane person. It seemed like they broke away from that over the last few episodes, which were the strongest.
My husband and I love this show and truly hope it does not get cancelled. There are so few good quality shows on tv right now and this is definitely one. It is also nice to see a woman in a position of power on a tv show, setting a positive example for young girls. Please bring it back!

My husband and I love to watch this show. We watch it on Prime Time on Demand just because of the time it is on. We would surely miss this show. We love the story lines. If it does get cancelled, please, please show the episodes that you still have.
I absolutely love Chase! I don’t want them to cancel it. They need to bring it back. I keep looking for it everywhere.
