NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

My husband & I loved watching Chase also and think the network is to blame when they start pre-empting for one reason or another. It can only hurt the fan base a show does have and gives no chance for it to bring in new viewers once word spreads that it’s a decent show. Unfortunately, they do it all the time…apparently the networks never learn.
Bring Chase back. Minute to Win It is a total waste of time.
My whole family misses Chase. There are few shows on TV that are halfway decent. This was one. I am begging to keep it on!!
I love this show and NBC needs to keep it going. Why would you air the first part of a two part show and then quit? It does not make sense to me.

We really enjoyed watching Chase & have missed it. We would agree with some reviews that it got off to a bit of a slow start, but we were more and more into it with each new episode. We miss it and would love to see it continue.
We totally agree, we have been checking our guide to make sure we haven’t missed it, we love the show and would like to see it start up again.
I absolutely hate investing time in primetime T.V. anymore! Especially NBC! Every show that I enjoy on the network they “CANCEL”! First Trauma and now Chase! I’m sure Harry’s Law or Perfect Couples will be next. I enjoy both by the way. Please get it together NBC!
I absolutely love Chase! I hope NBC doesn’t cancel it. I’ve been waiting for new episodes. This is the only show I watch on NBC. I thought they might have finally found something worth watching, but it looks like they still don’t have a clue what the viewers want if they are considering canceling the only good show they’ve had in a while.
We loved chase.!!!! It was one of our favorite shows. We never missed it. Please bring it back!! Annie was amazing and u think they just need to find the right time slot for it.

PLEASE bring Chase back I am live in Texas myself and my family really enjoyed the show it was always okay where they gonna be in Texas this time it really dissapointed us when they took it off but us little ole people from Texas are nothing to the big wigs who decide what is on T.V. 🙁
