TV show description:
In this light-hearted sitcom, Hayden Fox (Craig T. Nelson) is the coach of the Minnesota State University Screaming Eagles, a fictional Division I-A college football team.
He’s assisted by the dim-witted Luther Van Dam (Jerry Van Dyke) and Michael “Dauber” Daubinski (Bill Fagerbakke). He juggles his job with his single-father responsibilities to teenage daughter Kelly (Clare Carey) and his relationship with TV news anchor Christine Armstrong (Shelley Fabares).
Hayden’s boss is Director Howard Burleigh (Kenneth Kimmins) who, along with his wife Shirley (Georgia Engel), are close friends with the Hayden and Christine.
Other series characters include Hayden’s ex-wife (Lenore Kasdorf ), Christine’s mom Mildred (Nanette Fabray), and Orlando Breakers team owner Doris Sherman (Katherine Helmond).
Coach is def one of my all time favs. But, what happened to Ms. Carey on the finale? Why was she excluded from final segment? Esp with Kris Kamm there.
i have looked all over for a summary of how the show ended. Can someone please tell me if Hayden went back to Minnesota.

I like that Criag T. NELSON HAS A NEW SHOW(PARENTHOOD). I only wish his part was bigger! We dont get to see enough of him. WE MISS COACH! BRING THE SHOW BACK. GO MINN. ST. SCREAMIN EAGLES! P.S. I LIKED THE SHOW MORE IN MINN. THAN ORLANDO. EVEN THOUGH I LIVE IN ORLANDO. LIKED THE CABIN SET-UP MORE!
This is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. I began to love these characters after the first show i watched. I have seen every episode several times. My fav. Episodes i cant count how many times i’ve seen. I try and watch as much as I can. It puts me in a better mood whenever I am down. I am glad this show made it as long as it did. I own seasons 1-3.
