IFC has renewed Comedy Bang! Bang! for a third season. They’ve ordered 20 new half-hour episodes which will air in two groupings sometime in 2014.
The second half of season two will premiere this Friday on IFC at 10pm.
Of the renewal, co-creator/director/producer/host Scott Aukerman said, “They say the best things come in threes: celebrity deaths, Hobbit movies, and now, seasons of Comedy Bang! Bang!.”
