That was fast! As predicted, the Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders TV show on CBS has been renewed for a second season. The news broke as part of the CBS May Upfront presentation coming this week. This news was expected because, as with fellow freshman series, Code Black, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders was given network permission to secure the writing staff in what’s called and “if/come” deal, as reported earlier today.
The The Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders TV series cast includes: Gary Sinise, Alana De La Garza, Daniel Henney, Annie Funke, and Tyler James Williams.
Here is more, from Deadline:
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, starring Gary Sinise and Alana de la Graza, also has held up well, especially when airing behind a new Criminal Minds episode. The mothership series was recently renewed for Season 12. Both shows are overseen by Erica Messer, who also created the spin-off.
CBS has also renewed Code Black, Undercover Boss, and The Odd Couple.
What do you think? Are you a fan of the Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders TV show? Do you plan to watch the second season?
I enjoyed the show and am glad it’s been renewed. When is it on?
I am glad Crminal Mind beyond boarders is back!
I just checked out the CBS Fall Line-up and did NOT see Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. When will it air??
This show is fantastic. Love All the team members. Keep it coming
Yes, I will definitely watch season 2 of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. I was hoping it was renewed.
I do love this show! So glad they’ve renewed it. I wish we’d get 24 episodes instead of 13 though.
I have enjoyed Criminel Minds:Beyond Boarders this season. I love the actors on the show. It is interesting to see the different parts of the world they travel to. I am glad to see that they will be returning.
Love Criminal Minds Beyond Borders so happy to see it was renewed!
I totally agree…. Gary Sinise is wonderful in this.
I love the show, I am glad they renewed season 2. Thank you so much!!! Criminal Minds:Beyond Borders is a great program!!!
“Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” is excellent! The premise of Americans in trouble in foreign countries is believable. We all watch the news…The story lines have been filled with suspense and unpredictable twists. I appreciate the little bits of regional culture and tradition embedded throughout each episode. I’m also pleased that in spite of the relentless search for the “unsubs”, there is obvious respect for the authorities and protocol of each foreign nation. The “unsubs” crimes are not attributed to the country in which they occur, and each episode ends with a respectful interaction between the individuals of each country. Each… Read more »
I always fear the end of great shows and hope and pray for the amazing ones to come back again!!! Thank you for continuing with Criminal Minds and also with introducing Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and bringing that one back again too! I honestly look forward to what I call “my crime show night” and kick everyone out of the house! 😀
I think that is great news! I love Criminal Minds Beyond Borders. Gary is his usual fantastic actor and the team on the show are all great together!
Yeah! My new favorite show. Now that all the CSI are gone I’ve become a major fan.
I like Gary Sinise, but I don’t like this show. I tried to but found it too tedious to watch and the acting overall was so-so. Better things to do with my time.
Am i the only one that finds it absurd that this team would have any authority in a foreign country? Especially when they try and intimidate world leaders?
C’mon, this is TV. I certainly hope you do not base your life on other hits like The Big Bang Theory or Dancing With The Stars! Get real about entertainment.
I never take TV that seriously, but this one just irks me. It’s really a shame too, because I like Gary Sinise, and Criminal Minds has always been a favorite. But this one, I couldn’t make it past episode 2.
You should have hung in there..it got better. It was a slow start I agree..but Sinise has been holding it up. Too bad about the other one toof. I really like Whittaker and Garofalo. They should add them to this lineup
It is also the arrogance. They are so superior so much better than professional staff of countries with equal abilities and of course with better IT, field forensics and so above local laws, customs and authority. Tone down the irritating attitude and the story lines might be watchable. Just wont be be me watching.
