Criminal Minds Renewed for Season 13 on CBS
The BAU remains on the case. CBS announced today it has renewed its Criminal Minds TV show for a 13th season. According to the press release, this renewal marks The Tiffany Network’s 19th series returning in the 2017-2018 season.
The 12 season of Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Adam Rodriguez, and Damon Gupton. Mark Gordon, Erica Messer, and Breen Frazier executive produce for ABC Studios in association with CBS Television Studios.
Airing on the CBS television network, season 12 of Criminal Minds is averaging a 1.39 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.49 million viewers. I love this show, characters leave but it is still a great cast. Please keep it going as long as possible.
I’m thrilled ‘Criminal Minds’ is being renewed but please please please get some new writers to aren’t ‘dumbing down’ the script. This is the BAU ! If they are not going to bring Hotxh back (the fools ) get somebody in there that exudes confidence and leadership. As much as I like ‘Prentiss’ she just doesn’t sell. Or at least I’m not buying ! Too bad Gary Sinese is taken because he could be great although, again, HOTCH was /is the best choice.
Get some interesting characters. The new people add little to the show. Hotch and Derek were much more dynamic.
I have stopped watching this show a while ago. Without Shemer Moore, and lack of any real new original ideas, the show has run it’s course. There are much better shows on to watch instead of this one.
I enjoy this show and the Criminal Minds Beyond Borders. I am looking forward to seeing Shemar Moore making an appearance on Criminal Minds again too. I miss his being on the show.
My wife and I are very happy that “Criminal Minds” has been renewed. Great interaction among the actors.

You whiners need to move on, Shemar Moore has. I miss Hotchner too, but get over it. CM is still a great show and its still the same show it has been for 12 seasons, stop hating the Reid storyline because you can’t have Morgan and Hotchner, the Reid storyline is great, CM is on fire with this storyline ARC. Here’s to many more seasons, if you hate the show, change the damn channel

I too am a great fan of Criminal minds! Glad it is back, wish they would end the spencer story line in a good way and perhaps bring back Thomas Gibson and Shermar moore if only in limited ways
No surprise here. The only surprise is that they didn’t make a package deal to bring it back, so it looks like Code Black and Criminal Minds Beyond Borders are finished.
