NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
YES another season, soo well written, couldn’t figure what would happen next?? REMEMBER Hill Street Blues didn’t do well at first, I had to hunt for it each week they moved it around so much, but the outcome was GREAT, one of the best shows ever. What’s up with the ones in control? Have they no patience? Give it a chance, PLEASE
They always cancel shows if there is no sex or violence, or drugs. NBC is just going along with the rest and should take a stand and leave good shows like this on .
It did start out slow , very slow, but by word of mouth it has been building followers. I think it is good now. They should give it at least one more season.
I really liked crisis, it was a very entertaining show. Maybe they will change their minds and bring it back next season.
I feel that Stephanie said it all. There are few shows worth getting involved in anymore All that remains are crime and sex. Nothing that an inquiring mind can get involved in. Everything is so predictable. Finally you get 2 shows worth viewers time and you cancel them. NBC used to be my favorite station. Guess of the remaining shows the news for as grim as it s, will be the only thing I will listen to and that’s just to keep me informed. NBC listen to your viewers and don’t get rid of shows that appeal to those of… Read more »
I liked Crisis. I could not wait each week for it to come on. Matter of fact I hardly could not wait to it to air. They left it open ended where I believe Gibson is not done.
Another quality show that they don’t give it long enough in order to build a following! Was wondering how they would extend the plot beyond a first season, though. Would have to be different twists and scenarios to continue. Great cast, especially the SS agent and FBI agent working together. Sorry to see it go!
Another good one shot down N.B.C stands for never bother creating! Just go away….your channel officially SUCKS!!! No need to watch this channel.. Instead of a peacock change it into a pigeon! Booooooooo!
This is so wack…I love this show…I wish it came on earlier so more people could watch it. I always had to watch in ONDEMAND
My wife and I loved this show. Anytime we like a show they pull the plug on it. This show kept us on the edge of our seats and we waited every week for the next episode. The 2 hour finale left off with someone texting again. What a shame
I loved this show but I could tell mid season there wouldn’t be a season 2. Not because it’s bad but because whitener was basically taken down and then they found where the kids were. I just didn’t see a place for extra content. At the end of the finale there was a few unanswered questions as to what would happen but that would be an extra episode not a whole season. Still overall an amazing series.
The show was never long enough, so much was happening it ended and I wanted more. I cannot believe there is not another season. There are so many stupid shows that continue to remain on television that are cancelled, finally Crisis and Believe are two shows worth looking forward to watch and they cancel them. I do not know who made this decision, but obviously they have no idea what is really people want.
I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN ON TV SHOW EVER IN LIFE OF MY 58 YEARS! BUT I HAD TO ABOUT CRISIS! NBC WOULD MAKE A “HUGHE,” MISTAKE TO CANCEL CRISIS! THAT WAS THE SERIES OF THE YEAR! IT KEPT ME ON THR EDGE OF MY SEAT, ANXIOUS,WAITING TO SEE WHAT WAS TO HAPPEN NEXT! LOVED IT! AND LANCE GROSS PLAYED HIS ROLE WELL AS OFFICER FINLEY! PLEASE BRING ON SEASON 2! EVEN 3,4,5 AND MORE!
CONTINUSEASOAFTER SEASON PROGRAM!
This was a great show – just watched the final two episodes, nice to see a cliff-hanger possibility of a second season. As good as 24 when it was in its prime – can’t believe real drama gets taken off the air
Should bring crisis back!!!! Good show…something different.
