NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
Hope someone picks it up#
I’m soooo disappointed that Crisis is cancelled. I couldn’t wait till the next week to catch the next episode. NBC really did me & the rest of its viewers a disservice by canceling. I’m not sure what the ratings were but maybe if they did some promoting or marketing like they did for some of it’s other shows it would still be on the air. As a viewer you could not have watched Crisis and not like it. I’m jus disappointed.
This series has been an excellent thriller at the level of Prison Break and 24 Hours. It distinguishes from dummy series like Arrow or Beauty and the Beast. It keeps you alert all the time and plays its entertaining role.
I am so sorry to see this show cancelled. I had recorded the series and spent a day watching and absolutely fell in love with the show. I couldn’t wait for the next episode. I kept trying to find it on TV and now hearing that it is cancelled, I am so disappointed. I hope they reconsider.
I am disappointed that Crisis is cancelled. This has been a show that I have enjoyed watching, and there are so few on television these days that I do enjoy. It is a shame that this will probably be replaced with another mindless reality show. Television has always been an opportunity to sit back and figure it out like with shows such as Columbo, Kojack and Hill Street Blues, and currently Rizzoli and Isles and Criminal Minds.
hy plz i love Crisis plz dont do that plz
ohhh **** . it was amazing
I love this show!!! Very upset about cancellation!
Great Plot – But did have the wrong actors in the wrong spot that detracted the audience
I can’t believe that one of best dramas of seaso
ning was cancelled. They still left door open with unresolved ending. Yes it wrapped up some questions, but left so many more…please someone show some smarts and pick up this show..
Wow! I really like Crisis it was a great show. Always kept you up in your sit never knew what was going to happen next. As the show was winding down, I had some concerns on how the writer was going to keep it going. But when I seen the last episode and how it ended. I can see that Gibson wasn’t finish yet. I really like Gibson he was a very very smart man. Well NBC I really hate to see this show go, I wish you would reconsider bring it back for a second season.
Very very disappointed by the cancellation of both “Crisis” and “Believe”. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed these shows (we’re in the over 60 age bracket), and it was nice to have shows that both of us watch together. Great story lines, nail-biting suspense, and great casts kept us looking forward to each week’s episodes. Now we’re expecting these fine shows to most likely be replaced by some sex-laden drama or brain dead, inappropriate comedy with emphasis on off-color remarks and lousy scripts. So sad. NBC–you need to hire some seasoned TV viewers that can recall the wonderful days of… Read more »
You silly SOBS got to be looney! Crisis and Believe are fantastic, and I think you did these shows a disservice by interrupting them over the course of 8-10 weeks with other BS presentations… If the ratings were seen as low, it’s another indictment on the viewing audience mentality and inability to comprehend fast pace drama and fine acting, and most importantly, a wonderfully orchestrated streaming story line over many weeks that makes you beg for more….! You’re really crazy for the cancel, and it reflects on you AHOLESSSSS!
I cannot believe they are canceling one of the few good, new shows. I’m sure the Sunday night slot is not the best, but my entire family loved this show. Really stinks. There isn’t much to enjoy. Intelligence was cancelled too. When “24” ends then what. Another cop show? Wise up NBC
great show, great writing, great actors…..shame
We were slow to catch up, NBC!!
Now we know how good it is. So the ratings are going to be great next time!!
Don’t cancel it!!! That would be a big mistake!!
