What’s This TV Show About?
A USA Network 1930s period piece, Damnation stars Killian Scott, Logan Marshall-Green, Sarah Jones, Chasten Harmon, Melinda Page Hamilton, Christopher Heyerdahl, Joe Adler, Teach Grant, Dan Donohue, David Haysom, Arnold Pinnock, and Rohan Mead. The heartland labor drama centers on Seth Davenport (Scott). Although he poses as a small town Iowa preacher, he is actually an incognito labor agitator. Seth’s goal is to incite an all out revolt against the status quo. Little does he know a captain of industry has hired professional strikebreaker Creeley Turner (Marshall-Green) to squash the insurrection at any cost. What’s more, Davenport and Turner have a history — one that’s dark and bloody.

The ratings haven’t been great but, because the cable network tends to be patient with its original TV series, I expect USA will renew Damnation for a second season but they could easily cancel it. Subscribe for free updates on any Damnation cancellation or renewal news.

My husband and I just found this show last night!! We have binged all nine episodes. We love it, I agree with other people the characters are really coming into their own. It would be a shame to cancel such a great show.
Please bring Damnation back for season 2. Great story about a time in our country’s history that is neglected.
I agree with Liz. The characters are settling into their roles and the acting is improving. It is a semi-historical period piece about the United States; an issue most directors and producers would run from… Tost is punk rock!

Can’t ANYONE just give a simple yes or no answer to the ******* question of whether or not Damnation has been renewed? I swear to GAWD, these 10 episode season shows are going to make me homicidal.
The writer’s strike years ago made this 10 episode mess. I do not like it either….
Renew! I love Damnation. Top notch acting, characters, plot and scenery. It found its groove. One of the best new shows on Tv and USA TV.

Don’t be foolish. This is a great depression era series gritty series and am attempting to figure the multiple plots. If the sissies can’t stand the shootings, TURN THE CHANNEL to PBS
Cancel. Watched 1/3 of show, with several pauses- taking care of 1 yr. Old. Watched when she was asleep. Way too much killing. With all the news daily. This is not entertainment. Also, hard to follow. In Iowa, then, another state. Good riddance. Also, lived near Chicago, 5 years. Enough gunfire in my lifetime.
