What’s This TV Show About?
A Syfy space opera, Dark Matter stars Marc Bendavid, Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr, Jodelle Ferland, Roger Cross, and Zoie Palmer. The science fiction drama series follows the crew of a derelict spaceship who awake with no memory of who they are or how they got on board. Still, they must work together to survive a threatening voyage charged with vengeance, betrayal, and plenty of secrets.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Dark Matter averaged a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 608,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 13% and down by 10%, respectively. Find out how Dark Matter stacks up against other Syfy TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Season three premiered with mediocre numbers but the ratings for Dark Matter have remained pretty consistent. Syfy seems to believe in the program since they added an after show — After Dark — this season. Dark Matter also airs on the Space channel in Canada, so its fate largely depends on its success north of the border. I suspect that we will see a fourth season. i am also very hooked on this serie .
It’s one of those great shows SyFy shows you get hooked on, just in time for them to pull the plug. The cancellation of Farscape still leaves a bad after taste.
A little uneven at times, but recent episodes are very interesting and keep me wanting to see the next episode. Please renew!
dark matter is awesone and should have another season
I hope to see Dark Matter renewed for a Season 4. Good show.
I love this series. It has developed so much. The characters have many sides and I am crazy for it. Don’t cancel
It is a nice series, but season 3 hasn’t been particularly exciting. Yes, the single episodes are entertaining, witty, surprising, etc., but the story as a whole seems to have lost its focus. I don’t know what the characters want to achieve in the long run, or what long-term goals are to be reached. DM has become a collection of interesting chapters, but it is not a story any more.
We are binging Netflix, Dark matter. Never heard of this show but am excited to see a fourth season. Sad really how good shows are getting cancelled. My opinion is they are focusing too much from an old scale instead of taking into account..alot of viewers discover these shows after the season is over and enjoy them. With trends moving to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc..a new way to rate programs is needed.
Would like to see season 4. The writing for the show in my opinion is very witty & unpredictable. Hopefully it’ll be a go & we can see what’s up with this Blink Drive. Love the show.

I’ve internet, and I watch this show, tv. Is a old way of viewing. Does this mean you give up the tv? No, I don’t think so, internet is the current technology, but something else will come along to replace it.

I hope this show gets cancelled, it has gone from bad to worse and unfortunately all the testosterone went to the female characters, which are portrayed as weak and stupid.
why do you WANT it to be cancelled just because you dont enjoy it anymore? don’t watch it sure, but why would you wish for its end, when there are thousands of us that love it?
