What’s This TV Show About?
A Syfy space opera, Dark Matter stars Marc Bendavid, Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr, Jodelle Ferland, Roger Cross, and Zoie Palmer. The science fiction drama series follows the crew of a derelict spaceship who awake with no memory of who they are or how they got on board. Still, they must work together to survive a threatening voyage charged with vengeance, betrayal, and plenty of secrets.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Dark Matter averaged a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 608,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 13% and down by 10%, respectively. Find out how Dark Matter stacks up against other Syfy TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Season three premiered with mediocre numbers but the ratings for Dark Matter have remained pretty consistent. Syfy seems to believe in the program since they added an after show — After Dark — this season. Dark Matter also airs on the Space channel in Canada, so its fate largely depends on its success north of the border. I suspect that we will see a fourth season. Dark Matter was one of my favorite shows on television. Extremely disappointed!
How can syfy cancel a show on a cliff hangar ending in season 3 when more of what should be in season 4 is foretold in season 3. Are the people there as stupid as their name is (syfy). Come catch a wake up and bring season 4. Very ticked off fan.
Dark Matter was entertaining and we’re disappointed SyFy has cancelled it, but it isn’t the first good series that SyFy has cancelled. Perhaps it could be brought back……

Loved Dark Matter and Killjoys. Dark Matter was a hell of a lot better show than Killjoys.
Who wants more Superman and Tremors??? It seems that the quirky, original, fun shows get cancelled on SyFy. Sad.
I loved dark matter. It was much better than killjoys. I am so disappointed in Syfy. Not sure what they are thinking. The story was about to get even better. I am not at all happy.

It stinks. SyFy has so much junk. This show gad a good science fiction theme and great acting. From now on, I will only watch the Expanse and Killjoys. I hate the Sharknado and SyFy’s other zombie trash. I reminds me of when NBC cancelled the original Star Trek series n 1969. Hopefully Netflix or some other companies pick it up.

Oh god yes we NEED NEED NEED season 4 !!! This show is AWESOME ! It is fast paced, intelligent and just all round delicious. Unlike many other shows, there are no “filler” episodes where there’s not much going on, every episode is great. How could anyone NOT like it ? I just don’t get that, must be from another universe or something
The ratings drooped AGAIN! They drop EVERY SEASON! Lucky for you folks, FAILURE IS ACCEPTABLE AT SYFY. It will probably be back.
Yes! Yes! Yes! I misses the first 4 episodes on Season three and was unable to get them on demand so I paid for them on
amazon!!! I was able to get the rest on demand! I demand season 4, Yess!!!!
The best show syfy has. But syfy has a knack for cancelling great shows. Makes me worry for Dark Matter. If they cancel Dark Matter and Killjoys, there will literally be no reason to turn syfy on.
