What’s This TV Show About?
An ABC crime drama from creator Chris Fedak, Deception stars Jack Cutmore-Scott as illusionist Cameron Black, with Ilfenesh Hadera, Lenora Crichlow, Amaury Nolasco, Justin Chon, Laila Robins, and Vinnie Jones. With big shows in Vegas and New York, Cameron is rocketing to the top, when scandal derails his show and his twin’s life. While watching the news, he realizes that the FBI has been deceived by an illusionist, and whoever it was stole one of his signature moves. Now, this magician is using his tradecraft to help the Feds apprehend some of the most elusive criminals in the world and hopes to prove his brother, Jonathan (Cutmore-Scott), is an innocent man.

Why cancel it? The show is really good, but they will keep junk shows on. I looked forward to this show weekly. Big mistake ABC.

I was hoping for a season 2, but hopefully it won’t end w/ a cliffhanger. I don’t mind a show w/ only 1 season as long as it has an actual ending. I’ve always said that unless you know for sure your show is gonna be picked up for another season, NO CLIFFHANGERS!
ABC Executives are clueless if they cancel Deception. This show is intriguing, intelligently humorous at times, and keeps viewers in suspense as to the outcome of each episode. We’ll boycott all viewing of ABC if Deception is cancelled.
So typical, every show I like and watch, gets cancelled. there is no integrity in the TV business. DO NOT CANCEL
We need more shows like Deception ! We love it, the whole family can watch it, We tape it & get together in a few days to watch it, Pleas we really look forward to it, Do Not Cancel!
Is ABC kidding? Cancelling shows like Deception and The Crossing while keeping “oldies” like Grey’s Anatomy and the Bachelor/Bachelorette, American Idol, Splitting up Together, American Housewife??? Who is their Audience? Here’s hoping a network picks up Deception and The Crossing!

There are very few decent shows on ANY network and low and behold you have to cancel one. I guess if it’s not full of sex or political agendas it’s not worth the effort to build your viewing audience. Deception is a really good show and has a lot of potential. How about you get off your overpaid butts and work on saving this show?
There is so much that could be done with this show because of it being so different, incorporating magic in it that is not the usual magic played in other shows. If it was on now while others are taking the summer off, I believe that the ratings would have been greater. Too many shows that had time to build a following against a brand new one that did not have the time to build that following. Deception is a fun show to watch. It seems like if a show does not have a lot of sex in it or violence then it gets cancelled. I am a baby boomer and sometimes it is nice to watch a good clean story. I get sucked into these shows and you cancel
them. It would be nice if you gave this show a little longer.
Please renew deception it’s one of the few shows I actually like to watch on ABC. I with the others on this and think it will be foolish to cancel such a great show, while continuing to renew horrid and trashy shows. If ABC let’s me down by canceling deception I will never watch another thing ABC airs.
YES ABC AND OTHER TV COMPANIES CANCEL Random shows whether they do well or not. Spooksville was canceled by discovery channel. Dark matter was canceled . The list goes on. Is it fair no but that is clearly just the way it is. At least there are some shows that survive.
