Brace for impact, Designated Survivor TV show fans. No, we don’t know whether Designated Survivor is cancelled or renewed for season two on ABC, but the Alphabet Network has released details about the season one finale. The questions remains, will episode 1.21, “Brace for Impact,” also be the Designated Survivor TV series finale?
A political thriller, Designated Survivor stars Kiefer Sutherland as Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland). The ABC cast also includes Natascha McElhone, Adan Canto, Italia Ricci, LaMonica Garrett, Tanner Buchanan, Kal Penn, and Maggie Q. After an attack on the Capitol devastates the presidential line of succession, HUD Secretary Kirkman because President of the United States.

In the nail-biting season finale, Hannah Wells must stop the conspiracy from carrying out a final attack while President Kirkman authorizes a nationwide manhunt for the mastermind behind it all.

the name of the show is called designated Survivor Let’s Take a Hint from that and keep it alive there’s plenty of other shows on ABC that you can cancel instead that’s all
This is my favorite show! Tom Kirkman for president! I would be so disappointed if it wasn’t renewed. I haven’t enjoyed a network tv show this much for years, I’ve only been watching cable dramas. Designated Survivor is on par with the HBO series I mainly watch.
Another entertainment industry effort to promote a political narrative, namely, that right wing domestic terror is promoted by all non-democrats or liberals. They tag Keifer as an Independent, but his policies and speeches are all right out of the DNC playbook. And when a so-called independent tags a Republican, (or does the same thing to a Democrat) as “a good one”, you lose credibility. These writers know little about the Constitution or how government agencies run, or even what is plausible or not. Agree that the writers made an unfortunate mid-season change to promoting liberal causes (gun control, nuclear disarmament, earmarked special funding for the arts) and distorting (or not even mentioning) conservative views and casting the conservatives as mean and bad people. Moreover, while the show took this political left turn, the crime solving, suspenseful mystery portion took a nose dive. Poor writing, and at times weak acting, has made this story line predictable, boring, and virtually disconnected from the political story. This is a definate keeper. It makes you stop and think if this could happen in real life. In today’s age and with all of the violence going on, I believe that something like this could really happen or something similar to it. Please keep the show.

Please renew!!! One of the best shows on TV. I’ve never been into political shows but really love this one. Keeps you on the edge of your seat every week! I watch very little on ABC because they have too many dumb game shows and silly sitcoms. They finally have a great edgy show. Personally I think their Thursday night line up stinks. Renew–renew–renew–please!!! I can’t wait for Wednesday nights!!
I never miss an episode. It is so nice to watch an intelligent tv show, instead of dumbed-down comedies. DS and 24 Legacy are the best new shows, along the line of West Wing and the original 24. Please bring this great show back for more seasons! Keifer Sutherland is great in this role.
