What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Disjointed stars Kathy Bates, Dougie Baldwin, Elizabeth Ho, Chris Redd, Tone Bell, Aaron Moten, Elizabeth Alderfer, Betsy Sodero, Nicole Sullivan, Michael Trucco, and Mae Harrington. This workplace comedy centers on Ruth Whitefeather Feldman (Bates), who has long agitated for the legalization of cannabis. After years of advocacy, she is finally the proud proprietor of a Los Angeles-area marijuana dispensary. Ruth’s staff consists of her 20-something son, Travis (Moten), three budtenders, and a security guard. If this crew had an anthem, surely it would be Bob Dylan’s “Everybody Must Get Stoned.”
On February 14, 2018, Disjointed was cancelled so there won’t be a third season. Could it be revived someday? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Netflix ordered 20 episodes of this series out of the gate and decided to break them up into two “seasons”. Since only Netflix knows what they consider to be a success when it comes to viewership, it is tricky to gauge the performance of TV shows like Disjointed — unless Netflix publicizes its success. For now, I’ll keep an eye out for any new developments and update this page as they break. Subscribe for free updates on any Disjointed cancellation or renewal news. I’ve got to fly. I suddenly have a severe case of the munchies.

I’ve been watching disjointed on repeat especially when I need the laugh. We all need to petition to get this show back!!
The show was great. I just found it in 2023 and am really upset there’s only 20 episodes.
We deserve our 6 seasons and a movie!!

I just want to say that I really love Disjointed, with Cathy Bates! I don’t understand why they cancelled, it’s so funny, the story-line is great, and everyone that’s in the show are all great, I love it and im super disappointing you guys canceled! Bad decision in my opinion!
This is such an amazing show. Had me laughing when I watched it all the time. I hope they really make another season with the same cast and directors, no show can be like this. Disjointed forever.

I thought the staff where pretty far fetched but very intertaining! Lot’s of laughs!
Their should be a third part of disjointed i loved the show
Disjointed is a really funny, laugh out loud comedy. The cast has great chemistry. Kathy Bates continues to show the range of her talents. The writing is spectacular. I love this show and I am stone cold sober! Please bring it back. There isn’t enough unique comedy out there. We need this show
Disjointed is both comical and educational. It shows people all of the benefits of Marijuana paired with the perfect amount of comedy. It’s relatability makes it the perfect show, it needs another season or 10 lol. I am a huge fan as well as my daughter and mother.
This show “Disjointed ” needs to be continued, it’s an awesome program. Please bring it back!
Bring Back Disjointed! Its hilarious with it’s great cast and lead, This show just keeps getting better as it progressed. Ramping up cannabis comedy to a new spectrum while dealing with so many issues of life that are kept in grey areas and what medical and recreational marijuana facilities go through. I know the numbers in the beginning were probably low and slow but this show gives knowledge about cannabis and a positive outlook on the healing properties it has for people’s lives. Kathy Bates is beyond incredible with her cast and crew. 5 Parts Needed if not more!
Man I really love this show, I’ve watched it over and over again. It kinda doesn’t sit right with the fact it’s been cancelled. I truly hope they do bring it back. I need some type of closure! (Not to be dramatic and yes I may be a bit buzzed while writing)
