Though Disney Channel hasn’t made any official announcement, it appears that their family sitcom Dog with a Blog is ending with season three. Members of the cast are feeling pretty emotional about wrapping up filming.
On Tuesday, co-star Beth Littleford tweeted the above photo and wrote, “#DWAB final scene on the final day of shooting #SingleTear (actually #OpenMouthedSobbing).” The tweet has since been deleted.
On Instagram, co-star Genevieve Hannelius posted photos and wrote, “Dog With a Blog season 3 wrap party. They are some of my best friends and working with people you love is so special and wonderful. I feel so grateful. Thank you to our dedicated and supportive DWAB fans- I hope we made you all proud. I’m excited for you all to see the rest of season 3! new episode this Friday!!
On the Twitter account for Mick (who plays the show’s title character) a message reads “WHAT! It’s our last day!!! #DWAB #stan”. On Stan the dog’s Instagram account, this photo was posted and titled simply “Goodbye Dog with a Blog.”
There is a positive side for fans of Dog with a Blog however. All indications are that there are many new episodes on the way and they will be airing well into 2015. Season two had 24 episodes.

Come on Disney!! As you can see DWAB is a popular show! My grandkids LOVE this show as do I!! I know a few adults that love the show also!? It’s bad enough you’ve ended Jessie and rumor has it Austin and Ally??? And the shows according to many kids, yes many, they don’tseem to llike are, Best friends whenever and KC under cover!! This is pure nonsense. Look at all of the other useless smut on television. Why would Disney,a name linked with positive family values stoop so low as to cancel this adorable show. You have producers or strategy analyst that must be on another planet. You have proven that dumb and dumber has a new partner. This is a clear indication of just how dumb a network can be! I for one fan am furious with this stupid and ridiculous decision.

Usually actuall tv seriese last 4-5 seasons maybe even longer and i literally almost cried on the last scene of the last episode. So please bring it back

I am so pissed off that it was cancelled. I am hoping so badly it would be renewed. If it doesn’t, I will die of sadness. There is a large hole in my heart for this show. I want it to come back so badly. 🙁 please bring it back
