Though Disney Channel hasn’t made any official announcement, it appears that their family sitcom Dog with a Blog is ending with season three. Members of the cast are feeling pretty emotional about wrapping up filming.
On Tuesday, co-star Beth Littleford tweeted the above photo and wrote, “#DWAB final scene on the final day of shooting #SingleTear (actually #OpenMouthedSobbing).” The tweet has since been deleted.
On Instagram, co-star Genevieve Hannelius posted photos and wrote, “Dog With a Blog season 3 wrap party. They are some of my best friends and working with people you love is so special and wonderful. I feel so grateful. Thank you to our dedicated and supportive DWAB fans- I hope we made you all proud. I’m excited for you all to see the rest of season 3! new episode this Friday!!
On the Twitter account for Mick (who plays the show’s title character) a message reads “WHAT! It’s our last day!!! #DWAB #stan”. On Stan the dog’s Instagram account, this photo was posted and titled simply “Goodbye Dog with a Blog.”
There is a positive side for fans of Dog with a Blog however. All indications are that there are many new episodes on the way and they will be airing well into 2015. Season two had 24 episodes.
What do you think? Do you like Dog with a Blog? Do you think it should be cancelled or return for a fourth season instead?
I don’t think this show should be canceled because DWAB is my favorite show in the whole world! This show means everything to me and I was outraged and heart broken when I learned they were canceling the show. You simply cannot get rid of DWAB because it means a lot to everyone. The cast and fans love this show. Please don’t cancel DWAB it is amazing!
Why cancel this show? 🙁 it’s good! 🙂 please renew this show for season 4! 🙂
Save this show. Not many shows make me laugh out loud but this one does. So funny, warm family feeling, and real stories. The writing for Stan is great. Losing this feel good show is just WRONG!!!

Pleeeeze don’t cancel this show. It is a very well written show & no other like it on TV! So many of the Disney shows have “teen drama” in them. This series is unique with a great cast. Each individual ( and animal) has it’s time to shine on various episodes. My parents and grandpa love this show too…so as you can see, it’s reaching different age groups. Please keep up the good work creating more shows with Stan & the family! Thanks for listening!
We want to see more of Stan and the puppies and the Bennets. The concept for this show is unique and we would love to see more of the show
At least do a spin-off or something.
A family with a taking dog , that’s a good show.
We gotta get that show back.
I agree completely! We must have this show it means everything to me #SAVE THE SHOW!
I love dog with a blog! It’s so cool!!
Need more! season 4! need more! season 4!
Dog with a blog is the best!!!
Without dog with a blog , I think I will die!
My family LOVES this show. We always look forward to watching it together. Please keep it going!
I agree. I was skeptical when it started, but I don’t want to give up watching it with my grandkids. It’s become a big part of our week.
When I first saw the premise for this show, I might have groaned. BUT after actually watching it, I’ve gotten to love the characters. The chemistry is fantastic & the characters are well-developed. Their tag lines are pretty hilarious & became more endearing as the series progressed. I applaud whoever cast this show, because they bring out the best in the writing & story. The side characters like Fink, Robert, Nikki & the Hawk are great additions too. I wish more Disney shows were this well-developed. It has good layers, in that I can enjoy this show in a different… Read more »
