It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

What is wrong with these people..its mind bogglin ..Leave this show on the air I can think of alot more crappy shows out there to cancel . You continue to air shows like the Bachelor, come on, showing women degrade themselves for the attention of a man. How shallow so you think women really are?
At least Eastwick was entertaining and surprising. Yes I agree that maybe the CW should pick it up. I always look there for entertainment first anyway.
I can’t believe this show has been cancelled. It was my FAVORITE night time drama. What’s the deal? I want to see it returned.
this show is really good and i just don’t see why its doing so bad i think its because of bad marketing and the other show V was pushed so much on all their commercials
I also am a big fan of the series. I don’t understand canceling the show when it was just starting to take off. It’s a good story, slow moving at the beginning, probably explanation for the ratings. I guess America is too into crappy reality tv……
i think its stupid to cancel eastwick.. they should have had it on the CW channel though i mean ABC doesnt do go with supernatural shows..and no i dont think they will show us the last 2 episodes which is pretty dumb because its only 2 episodes!!! at least air it on saturday when there is zero shows on tv!! but apparently they could careless about the people who do care about the show and like it a lot, and wouldnt mind some closure on the show! the show wasnt bad where they cant even finish out 13 episodes!

How many times will ABC cancel a show without a wrap up? At least sum up the story and not leave the faithful audience hanging. Can’t believe it is replaced with “Ugly Betty”, why is that show still on the air? If you can’t bring EASTWICK back at least give us an ending.

ABC NEEDS TO SUCK IT!!!! I watch like 3 hours of t.v a week. Eastwick was a show that i absolutely loved and could relate to! I’m Wiccan (pagan) and there aren’t any shows on t.v that depict that. My girlfriends and i would all get together on Wed nights and watch Eastwick and make martini’s! But, you go ahead ABC, keep on making those reatarded episodes of Modern Family and Cougar Town! Perhaps, Eastwick didn’t do so well because it was on at 10pm? BRING BACK EASTWICK!!!

ABC is DUMB! MASH and ER didn’t do well in their first season, but they were allowed another, and are classics now! Eastwick is raw and sexy like ..sex in the city…only with MAGIC! I LOVE IT! Write the cable companies…imagine what they can do with the show! Please write the sponsors of Eastwick and send them our petitions! I know some of you have the last episodes recorded, hit ABC in their wallet! Let’s work some black magic on ABC, let’s make their sponsors disappear!

Wow I am seriously pissed that u pulled the show it was really good…why can’t u make it this is crazy gosh u should relize that we are all goin through hard times look at how they all lost there job. That is so unfair what does ratings have to do with stuff…I use my DVR for my shows and I was late watchin all of them but I was so into hell 8 people in my house were into it
