It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

I was i huge fan of charmed and wsa very dissappointed when it ended. However i discovered Eastwick on TV demand and fell in love with the show. Its absoulutely fantastic and takes me away from the mundane tasks of daily life. Their has been so many that have stopped, i.e lipstick jungle and army wives that i got into and has now finished!!!!! Please don’t end another show that we have started to enjoy!!!!!
Why is that everyone thinks that all people want to watch reality shows or shoot them out shows. Some of really like supernatural shows. It gives us something other than REAL LIFE shows to watch. Frankly I am sick and tired of see shows of this girl and guys didn’t get that guy or girl so they’ll cry to the camera about real life. Or even better yet who will do what for this money? Sick of all the shows lately!!!! Well I do know what I won’t be watching……
Please continue with the series, i have finally found something my husband will watch with me.
Why oh why oh why!!! I just cant believe there going to cancel eastwick, I just finish watching the 1st series and it was brilliant, I so badly want a second series to come out, great charactors, good story line, great guy candy to, I just loved everything about it, its alway the case when something good comes along it gets taken off to soon, I beg you ABC please do more series!!!!!!
Why??? It’s bad enough that you cancelled the series. The fact that you then refuse to air the last 2 shows is beyond torture. To those of us who loved the show the least you could do was give us closure. The show was never advertised well to begin with.
I am so annoyed that they canceled showing the final two episodes that they’ve PROMISED us they’d air tonight. I’ve had it on my calendar for a month. I now boycott ABC shows completely, due to they’re flaky disregard for fans and good entertainment. What’s the point in investing loyalty to anything they produce, when they yank it so easily and won’t air the last episodes? Bad customer service. I’m starting to think that ABC is run by the postal service.
Man this sucks just foound out about it and then to know that there won’t be anymore comeon BRING BACK EASTWICK advertise it better….
My friends and I really love Eastwick and cannot believe that there won’t be any further episodes. The channel we watch the show on in England is Warner TV. I think that they should think about showing programmes that they know have already been cancelled and therefore leave their viewers frustrated.

I LOVE EASTWICK! WHY IS IT THAT EVERYTIME I FIND A SHOW THAT I REALLY REALLY LIKE, ABC CANCELS IT! IM SO DISAPPOINTED! MAYBE MORE PEOPLE WOULD WATCH IF IT HAD A DIFFERENT TIME SLOT OR SOMETHING!

I didn’t know about Eastwick either, until it was advertised for TV on demand…We watched all 13 episodes and loved it. We are So fed up that it wasn’t advertised properly. If it was shown on E4 or another popular channel I think it would be a major hit over here in the UK! My family and I think its as good as Charmed, maybe better! And I’d love to see much more of it!!
Totally Agree with the majority! Awesome programme!! But I literally didn’t know it existed until 24hours ago when I was flicking through tv on demand! They can’t leave it on such a massive cliffhanger! I want to know who max and that scary possessed boy is!!
To the ABC staff, Hello I my name is Ja’Patrick Timothy A former “Eastwick” viewer and i have a few thing to bring to you all’s attention. With all do respect “Eastwick” has to be just about the best show, next to “Ugly Betty” the this channel. I know of many people that never used to watch ABC, but until i informed them of this great show that i found very interesting ‘&” at that time I opened eyes of plenty of viewers, and when we all heard that it was canceled we were Devastated and Shocked and very well… Read more »

I’m not sure if you’re aware but they are airing the first 13 episodes on another channel in Australia and we LOVE it, I hope that we have a better result and they consider bringing out more episodes and <3 maybe a DVD box set.
