Fans of Ugly Betty just got some (possibly) good news. ABC is moving the dramedy to Wednesday nights at 10pm. Unfortunately, that’s spells bad news for fans of cancelled Eastwick.
Eastwick has had a tough time of it and has never quite found a wide audience. The show and its cast — including Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, Jaime Ray Newman, Paul Gross, Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright — have become popular with a devout group of viewers but it’s just not big enough to keep the show on the air.
The show was effectively cancelled last month when ABC opted to not order any additional episodes beyond the initial 13 installments.
Eastwick executive producer, Maggie Friedman, said that this would mean that many show storylines would go unresolved. On the positive side though, it seemed like ABC was committed to airing all of the episodes.

Unfortunately, it now appears that ABC has decided to pull the show off the air before the run is completed. Ugly Betty will take over the Eastwick timeslot on January 6th, bumping the last two episodes of the supernatural series from the schedule.
For now, it seems that the network has no plans to air the final installments of Eastwick. If ABC history is any indication, fans may have to wait until the summer months to see them — ala Dirty Sexy Money and Eli Stone. If not, then they’ll be able to find them on DVD, if there is one.

I am so SAD to hear that they are canceling Eastwick……..I just found out here…..=( I have been wondering where the hell it’s been……I PVR it……I LOVE the show……there is 2 more eposides after Darryl decides to stay cause the girls are going to use their powers….??? So sosososososo SAD……

Just saw the real 11th episode thanks to some friends ‘across the pond’…. It was great!!! I recommend that anyone that is really interested in this show stop messing with ABC and start deluging Lifetime with petitions to pick it up! In the meantime, DOWNLOAD the episodes if you have to. The 11th was shown last night and the 13th will air in a week (in England that is, on Hallmark !!!) so go look for them!!
Forget ABC. The episodes are airing in Britain (the skipped episode already has in fact), but not here. Download them off the internet (got one already) and go to Lifetime to sign the petition for them to pick up the series. ABC are just jerks that do not care about their viewers at all! Watch other networks and tell ABC to F-off!

Come on ABC all us fans are willing to buy Eastwick on itunes and I know a few of my friends have bought it aswel.Surley you can see there is a huge market for this show. At least sell it to another network if you no longer want the show. Its one of the most popular shows here in the uk.
please do something ABC!!!!Eastwick is great and different from anything else you broadcast. We can watch shows like Ugly Betty all day long on Nick!!!! In the time slot it had, we expect something other than children’s comedy!!! I hope some other network will pick it up. I can tell you one thing, I won’t be tuning in to ABC on Wed. at 10:00. Ghost Hunters is on sci-fy, I’ll go there. Oh, wait. I just heard itunes had Eastwick and I am willing to pay for it.
Eastwick is a great show! I usually taped them onto my dvr so i can watch and revind whenever i feel like it. they should cancel Cougar Town instead.

hey everyone eastwick is availible on itunes to purchase it also states that all the 13 episodes will be made availible I have just purchased the season pass. If all us fans buy it im sure the tv companys will then see how popular it really is. Come on Eastwick fans lets show our support
I think it is pretty crappy that ABC canceled Eastwick. Maybe ABC should think about this! Do you think your ratings are in the hole because you keep pulling shows???? No one is going to want to watch ABC if they keep doing this. What is the point in getting into a show and then have it canceled over and over again.
