TV show description:
This TV series gives a new take on the classic Arthur Conan Doyle characters. It’s a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD’s most impossible cases.
Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric detective Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare — a sober companion, Doctor Joan Watson (Lucy Liu). She was a successful surgeon until she lost a patient and her license three years ago.
Watson views her current job as another opportunity to help people, as well as paying a penance. However, the restless Sherlock is nothing like her previous clients. He informs her that none of her expertise as an addiction specialist applies to him and he’s devised his own post-rehab regimen — resuming his work as a police consultant in New York City.
Watson finds she has no choice but to accompany her irascible new charge on his jobs. In the end, Sherlock finds her medical background helpful, and Watson realizes she has a knack for playing investigator.
Sherlock’s police contact is Captain Tobias “Toby” Gregson (Aidan Quinn). He knows, from previously working with Scotland Yard, that Sherlock is brilliant at closing cases, and welcomes him as part of the team.
Episode #154 — The Last Bow
Amidst Holmes and Watson’s battle with tech billionaire Odin Reichenbach, the investigators receive word of their old enemy and Sherlock’s former love, Jamie Moriarty.
First aired: August 15, 2019.
What do you think? Do you like the Elementary TV series on CBS? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for season eight?
Truly enjoy Elementary and would love it to be continued.
A show we watched every week and enjoyed immensely.
Please bring Elementary back. It’s one of few TV shows I enjoy. Miss it!
Please bring the show back . I miss it! Elementary is one of the few shows on TV I enjoy!
My husband and I look forward to this show. Why do they either play with the days and times or not show it at all. There’s nothing on Wednesday nights why not put it back on the air then. Bring the show back
Well it seems that all shows I like are cancelled. My wife and I really like this show and it is one of the few we go out of our way to watch. We are unhappy to not see it on the schedule.
It is a good show but the football games running overtime kept pushing its’ airtime later and later and at irregular times. I do not want to watch part of another show and then have to switch over to “Elementary” at some strange, late time, and miss the ending of the first show I was viewing.
this is a great show and should continue. too often Hollywood pulls the plug on good shows. eg. firefly, star trek, etc.
Love this show. Don’t cancel.
One of the best shows on TV!
Please don’t cancel. Love this show. Stop moving it around. One of the few good shows left to warch.
This show is beyond good. Please don’t leave him in a MRI machine. If you put the advertising dollars like you do with the other shows. More and more people would be aware of this fantastic drama..
Love this show. It’s so much better than the real Sherlock Holmes
I love this show and I hope that you are not canceling it. I agree too that there is no bad language or explicit sex crap to deal with. It is a good mystery and the relationship between Sherlock and Watson is so great and a mystery in itself. Please don’t cancel it!!!
Elementary was one of the best shows on. It was not trashy or had trashy language on it. I am not pleased the new shows.
Elementary is a production that has thought and serious acting. Stupidity and scantily clad women isn’t acting or entertainment. Hope CBS keeps the show going. The long list of “new” shows is disappointing. CBS is going the way of Fox broadcasting. We are turning the TV off more often because of bad shows and too much advertising.
