There have been many successful projects based on the Land of Oz book series by L. Frank Baum. There’s also been a number of flops. Now, NBC is trying a television series called Emerald City. Will it be another hit or a disappointment? Will the Emerald City TV show be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
A fantasy drama, Emerald City is the tale of a young woman named Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona). She finds her true strength and identity as she battles to bring a divided world together. An all-powerful ruler called the Wizard (Vincent D’Onofrio) governs over one kingdom. He has outlawed magic and faces a looming disaster brought on by a mythical force — as well as the wrath of a growing cauldron of witches. The rest of the cast includes Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ana Ularu, Mido Hamada, Gerran Howell, Jordan Loughran, and Joely Richardson.

I am in shock reading of such poor ratings, and the general lack of excitement surrounding this series!!! Both my husband and I have been riveted since the first episode, and have eagerly awaited each new episode…we both are pulling for NBC to stick with it for a second season!!!! We must find out what becomes of Oz!!!!!!!

I started watching Emerald city half way threw the season and have been a weekly faithful ever sense. Pick this show back up. Has a different and more appealing plot line that I’ve enjoyed since the 1st time I’ve watched it. GIVE IT ANOTHER SEASON PLEASE

Emerald City is by far the best drama series in years! It portrays a broad range of genres keeping me completely engaged and on the edge of my seat. The concept is ingenious and thought provoking. I am always ” hungry” for more Emerald City….
Please renew this for another season! I love the new age twist on the characters! It absolutely brings a fresh perspective to beloved characters. I have to find out what happens next, I’m totally hooked!

I rarely ever watch prime time tv but thought I’d give Emerald City a chance and was hooked. I couldn’t wait for Friday to come to see amd catch up. Please renew it for another season, it is well worth it.
