There have been many successful projects based on the Land of Oz book series by L. Frank Baum. There’s also been a number of flops. Now, NBC is trying a television series called Emerald City. Will it be another hit or a disappointment? Will the Emerald City TV show be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
A fantasy drama, Emerald City is the tale of a young woman named Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona). She finds her true strength and identity as she battles to bring a divided world together. An all-powerful ruler called the Wizard (Vincent D’Onofrio) governs over one kingdom. He has outlawed magic and faces a looming disaster brought on by a mythical force — as well as the wrath of a growing cauldron of witches. The rest of the cast includes Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ana Ularu, Mido Hamada, Gerran Howell, Jordan Loughran, and Joely Richardson.

Being a wizard of oz fan this is an amazing and dark take on it! Please renew emerald city, there is so much more to learn and know about the great place called oz!!!

The final two episodes were fantastic, but prior episodes were terribly uneven. This is an incredibly expensive show to produce and the ratings can’t support it, unless it’s a smash overseas.
Bring emerald city back for season 2 am done if you are going to cancel it tie it up I so do hate when they can something and don’t tie it up even in one last movie it makes the viewer upset
And when the network try’s a new a show for me personally I will think back on how they left me hanging and not watch , if then you keep it a few seasons
I will binge watch and then catch up ..
