Billy Bush is returning to television. People reports the former Today co-host has joined a new syndicated TV show, Extra Extra.
A revamp of Extra, the entertainment news series will feature “a modernized set and in-depth look at topics including pop culture, sports and politics.” Current host Mario Lopez will continue through the rest of this season.
Extra Extra is set to debut on TV stations across the U.S. on September 9th.

In case no one is paying attention it looks like over 90% of the reply’s do not like the new format. EXTRA has become a ZERO for myself and a lot of fans. Someone didn’t think this thru very well.
No I will NO LONGER WATCH EXTRA. Because you replace MARIO LOPEZ with SOMEONE I DON’T & WILL NOT SUPPORT. RETHINK YOUR DECISION. BAD POLITICAL MOVE.
No I will not watch. Since Billy Busch was caught talking trash mouth with Trump you can keep him. I will look for alternative shows. You folks did not think this one out very well. Too many women out there have been hurt and you’re putting them on your show is a slap in the face to all people that have been abused
Watched it once and will not watch it again. Don’t like the new format or hosts.
Will not watch as much anymore, do not like Billy Bush as host. More entertaining with old crew.
I won’t watch extra anymore. The new set is ok, but Billy Bush is an absolute no for me. He thinks he is funny, but he is really obnoxious. Funny, I used to make sure I had recorded it if I couldn’t watch, and now I can’t stand watching it.
I really do not like the new format… used to watch it all the time… turned it on and saw the new format…. won’t be watching my extra any more… unless it goes back to normal…. (normal being with Mario Lopez and the whole gang!!! Sorry…
Omg, do not like the new format, so BORING, Billy is not entertaining, IMO. I have tried several tiles just can’t watch, ugh…
My husband and I used to watch Extra every night. After just two episodes with the new studio and awkward formatting we have taken this off our record list and stopped watching. Such a bummer.

So miss the old Extra. By that time of the evening I needed a change from regular news. Disappointed with the new set. 64 years old , retired AP art teacher use to love, love, love Mario and his cast. Not fond of the way they are presenting info. So So sorry Billy but Mario rocked that program. WOW so upset!
I miss Mario, his comments in this sensitive time must be smarter, not missing Tanika, just was done with her hair, bad as I need mine done and make over no excuse for her look and she got a few million just terrible on her behalf and glam team, smh, wishing them the best, they will be OK, missed Billy thou, hoping he has learned and will choose his associates better even if they are a President, drop the mic

I liked the old format much better and Mario is and will be missed I think they made a big mistake I no longer look forward to seeing it. When you have a winner don’t mess with it.
