A British Amazon comedy-drama, Fleabag stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sian Clifford, Olivia Colman, Jenny Rainsford, Bill Paterson, Brett Gelman, Andrew Scott, Hugh Skinner, Ben Aldridge, and Hugh Dennis. The series follows a grieving young woman nicknamed “Fleabag,” as she tries to find her place in the world. At turns raunchy, awkward, and poignant, the series centers on Fleabag’s life as a single-woman, in the wake of the death of her best friend, Boo (Rainsford).

I thought it was very well written and had an extremely interesting point of view. While the first season showed clearly a lot of messed up people, the slow development of characters kept me interested through the second season where things seemed to resolve, to an interesting point with a wink and a nod. However, I felt there was still room to develop these characters a bit more. It’s a shame Amazon and BBC decided to end the series. Good work, though, by a stellar cast.
