New York [April 24, 2017] HGTV today announced that the seventh season of Flip or Flop, starring Tarek and Christina El Moussa, will feature 20 episodes – more than a traditional full season order. Five of the episodes are currently in post-production, with filming of the remaining episodes continuing through the fall. In season seven of the popular series, Tarek and Christina, who spent several years building their successful house flipping business, will continue to focus on finding, buying, renovating and flipping homes for profit in Southern California. The new season is scheduled to air in December 2017.
“Tarek and Christina’s expertise and success flipping houses has made Flip or Flop an audience favorite on HGTV for many seasons,” said Allison Page, General Manager, U.S. Programming and Development, HGTV, Food Network & Travel Channel. “The series is so successful because it shows how real estate and renovation savvy can lead to financial success.”
HGTV cameras captured the ups and downs of Tarek and Christina’s house flipping business as well as their family life. While the couple has separated, each one has turned the page to a new life that includes a continued commitment to running their house flipping business together and delivering fresh episodes of Flip or Flop.
“Tarek and I have been working together for a long time and we look forward to continuing to work together on Flip or Flop,” said Christina.
“From the beginning, HGTV has shown Christina and me tremendous support and we are excited to go out there and flip many more houses for Flip or Flop,” added Tarek.
Flip or Flop with Tarek and Christina El Moussa attracted more than 17 million total viewers during its last season. It also inspired an HGTV franchise that will feature house flipping experts working in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Nashville and Chicago.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Flip or Flop TV series? Do you plan to watch season seven on HGTV?
I doubt I will be watching the new season. I can’t stand Christina’s voice – it’s like chalk on a blackboard, and she can’t hide her contempt for Tarek, who at least is better at carrying on the pretense. They are only doing it for the money, can barely pretend to care for each other, and everything about that offends something in me.
We won’t be watching this show anymore. I can’t support them with my veiwership if half of what the press showed about their life is true.
Love the ElMoussa’s. Sorry they are having marital probs but they do a great job. Not a fan of
Atlanta (they don’t do enough), Las Vegas (do people there really like purple sinks?).
While I am saddened to read that Tarek and Christina are now separated, I am glad the show goes on! What separates the Tarek/Christina Flip or Flop is the chemistry between these two. She is funny and seems patient and obviously loves her family (further saddening me). There isn’t a lot of swearing, no F-word every other word, and Tarek just seemed respectful of Christina. They seemed “real.” But Hollywood is Hollywood and getting rich has never seemed to make people better people. I am sad that they have allowed these things to interfere with what I thought was a… Read more »
Yes I love the show keep it coming
It will be fun to watch Seinfeld’s lookalike chasing are the 32-tooth Barbie with a handgun when they disagree over flooring choice.
I love the shows in seasons 1-5, but season 6 has too much pretense with very little shown of the actual remodeling of the home; miss Izzy Battres; I have little to no interest in season 7; time to end the show.
Hate the show now. Will not ever watch.
Wish they were leaving the end of last season Christina was so rude and fake. They did a lot better work and were able to show how to flip on a tight budget.
i am from the Caribbean and I am a huge fan of flip or flop I therefore would love to se this show conttinued
Glad to see they are returning. They’re so talented, dynamic renovations, and a great couple….married or not!
These two deserve each other but I’m not sure they deserve another season. Sad they have two children together and then split.
It was a good run, but time to end the show.
I’m thrilled that they get the chance to still work together. Everyone has their problem, they are no exception. But Christina is so talented!
Yes I love the show. I’m they are going to continue working together.
My husband and I will continue to watch and will look forward to the new season. We wish them both , and their families all the best.
