ABC is still trying to fill that Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot. Many ABC shows have been given that timeslot and they’ve all been cancelled — Killer Women, Body of Proof and Lucky 7, to name just a few. So, how’s the new Forever TV show doing? Will it break the trend or be cancelled as well?
On the Forever TV show, New York City’s star medical examiner is Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd). He can ascertain things that most can not because of his vast experience — he’s been alive for 200 years but can’t figure out how or why. The rest of the cast includes Alana de la Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore, and Judd Hirsch.
The series got off to an okay start, following the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars on a Monday night. It attracted a 1.7 rating with 8.59 million viewers. The following night, in its permanent timeslot, the demo rose slightly but viewership dropped.

In week two, the ratings tumbled to a 1.4 in the demo with 5.69 million. In week three, they fell even lower and last week’s installment hit new lows with a 1.1 demo rating and 4.81 million viewers.
Just four weeks into the season and this show is already in serious trouble. ABC needs a successful show to fill the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot and it’s clear that Forever isn’t the answer to their prayers. It’s unlikely that they’ll order any installments beyond their initial 13 episode order.
Will all of the episodes air? I suspect that ABC will release the six remaining episodes — probably before the holidays. The network may find other programming to air in the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot during at least some of November sweeps however.
Either way, unless there’s a miraculous turnaround in the ratings, Forever is as good as cancelled. It’s yet another TV show about an immortal that will see its life cut short.

Please re-new Forever. Each episode goes by so fast and leaves me wanting more. I love the characters and the way they all interact. The stories are intriguing and the dialog is witty.

Please re-new this entertaining drama. It has a great cast now the writeres have to find better situations for them. If silly sitcoms survive which most of us deem unwatchable why can’t ABC understand that there is a 10:00-11:00 audience that needs to be satisfied after so many foolish ‘contestant’ shows, dozens of obnoxious award shows and a myriad of truly violent shows.

I turned in Tuesday night to see one of my favorite shows, Forever, and something else was on. I hope this doesn’t mean that it has been cancelled.
It reminds me of years ago when every Sunday night at 7 pm, everyone would hurry home to see “Murder She Wrote”, then suddenly it was cancelled and replaced by something really “stupid”.
Please if you did cancel it, put it back on. It’s one of best shows I have seen in a long time.
LOVE Forever! Please ABC don’t cancel this show! We need more entertaining shows like this one that aren’t reality shows. The acting is great and who doesn’t love Judd Hirsch!! Please..please..please..keep it on!!!
Please do not cancel “Forever”. I really enjoy this show and look forward to Tuesday evenings so I can watch it. The premise is interesting and the actors are very good.

I love “forever” ……..sure it is fantasy but so is everything on TV and this show is easy to watch and not full of violence and sex….this show is fun and Grufford is perfect in the role …the entire cast is good. by the time i discovered it you were already taking it off. Give it a chance or a better time .

Please do not cancell the show. I do agree that an earlier time slot would be better. I watch it on HULU because it comes on too late for me. I think the the cast is wonderful and you can learn a lot too. I have introduced my friends to the show and they have enjoyed it also.
I think the cast and writing are great. Please find a better spot for the show – it deserves to be continued.
