The Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot has been a big ratings problem for ABC for quite awhile. Show after show has been cancelled. Will their new Forever series change that trend? Will it be renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On the Forever TV show, New York City’s star medical examiner is Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd). He can ascertain things that most can not because of his vast experience — he’s been alive for 200 years but can’t figure out how or why. The rest of the cast includes Alana de la Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore, and Judd Hirsch.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I don’t know why they need to cancel them.. if they are crap on tv ratings they sure wouldn’t be if they release them on dvd like come… look at the world today a lot of people don’t watch tv anymore they rather dvd’s I know I do.. even more since I can download them off PS4 or XBOX One

Forever goes up against Person of Interest, a consistent, highly rated show. Hard to beat. I watch POI and DVR Forever. I enjoy this show very much. Good stories and great cast. Hope ABC keeps it.
Forever is the best show ever! I only watch one tv show but now this has become my new favorite. Please don’t cancel it! The acting is superb and the plot and storylines are very well thought out and represented. The characters are all so unique and I’d hate to see them stop right now, the show has so much potential! RENEW OR WE RIOT!!!!!
I really hope they keep it on! This show to me is better than How to Get Away with Murder! I love the Henry and Abygail flashbacks!
How is a dedicated fanbase of 4mil+ per an average viewing not a great indicator that its a great show and that people want to see it? Its an astounding series with a superb plot and fantastic acting.
Forever is one of two shows that I watch regularly. That is because it is well written, well acted, and has a much better value than most TV shows.
Love Dr. Henry Morgan. So inspirational and engaging. Love this show. Please do not ever cancel. Very little on TV worth watching and this series has so much substance.
