TV show description:
A fantasy crime drama, this TV series follows New York City’s star medical examiner — Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd), handsome man with a secret past. No matter how hard he tries, Henry can’t age even a single day — he’s immortal. He doesn’t know much about what happens when he “dies” except that everything on him disappears and he reemerges in a body of water, naked.
Henry doesn’t just study the dead to solve criminal cases however. He does it to try to solve the mystery that has eluded him for 200 years — the reason for his own inexplicable immortality.
Henry’s long life has given him remarkable observation skills which impresses his new partner, Detective Jo Martinez (Alana De La Garza). This piques her curiosity about who he is. Each new case and their budding friendship reveal layers of Henry’s long and colorful past. Jo’s sharp, no-nonsense instincts and her ability to close difficult cases have given her a tough-as-nails reputation on the force, despite also dealing with the untimely loss of her husband.
Lucas Wan (Joel David Moore) is a twenty-something self-proclaimed “artisan of death” and Henry’s worshipful assistant. He considers mortuary science an art, and Henry its Picasso. After transplanting to New York City from rural Ohio, Lucas worked up the courage to introduce himself to the star medical examiner at a crime scene.
A Brooklyn native, Detective Hanson (Donnie Keshawarz) works alongside Jo and has worked his way up to the NYPD’s elite squad of homicide detectives. He’s a family man who lives with his wife and two children in Queens. Unafraid of bending the rules to get the job done, Hanson is sometimes skeptical of Henry’s talent but often admires its effectiveness.
No one knows Henry better than his best friend and confidant, an antique shop owner named Abe (Judd Hirsch). The keeper of Henry’s immortality secret, Abe’s “carpe diem” philosophy inspires Henry to get more in touch with the beauty of living. Abe is not immortal but he is determined to make the most out of every moment of life.
Episode #22 — The Last Death of Henry Morgan
Henry and Adam have been on a long, unrelenting collision course, which is about to come to a head – possibly bringing about one man’s death – with only Jo standing in the way. Henry and Jo’s murder investigation into a museum worker’s death centers on a priceless missing ancient dagger, which not only ended the life of Julius Caesar, but also killed Adam the first time.
Meanwhile, Adam knows that there is something that Henry fears more than death – that Jo might discover his mystery. The two men tangle in a tumultuous game-changing confrontation.
First aired: May 5, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Forever TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?

OMG I love this show. Reconsider, do not cancel. How can you leave us hanging like that?
Forever was a family show that we loved to watch
There was so much more to the plot that could have been carried out. You lost viewer for a reason.
The murder and him finding the clues, you steered
Away from too soon. You had a great show.
And you left too many questions unanswered.
I’m just one person.

What you write is up to you some of you have posted some grate comments that would be grate in letters
thank you for the address, i will certainly be writing to them about their foolishness in cancelling an excellent show.
Should of not been cancelled as the TV show was really good and was looking forward to the next season
I really liked the show. WTH is going to replace it?
I can’t believe they cancelled Forever. It was a good show and one of the few my wife and I watched together.
I have seen the new shows that are coming on this fall and none of them even seem good.
One of which, also on Fox, Scream Queens looks absolutely dumb.
Someone pick up Forever!!!!
Please some other network pick up forever. I looked forward to it every week. The stories where entertaining and the cast was great. Someone needs to give it a chance.
I, too, hope someone is wiser than ABC. That won’t be hard based on the programming they are introducing or renewing. “Forever” was a great series and deserves another season to prove itself. The entertaining, and twisting series with absolutely interesting episodes of fantasy was a tribute to a very interesting plot every week. Fiction and reality all rolled into one is much better than the nonsensical dating and husband and wife teasing that seems to be replacing interesting entertainment like the “Forever” series.
Can’t believe you you would cancel this but I guess you think all this reality trash is entertainment
Forever was an amazing show! It was refreshing and different and the onebshowni would look forward to watching every week. I am deeply depressed that this show was cancelled as it was one if the most intriguing of all that’s in tv. This should def. be brought back. If not by abc then another station.
Wife and i sad to see this show cancelled, we loved it and looked forward to it every week.
i loved the show and hope very much that forever returns
Loved the show. Like many people still wondering why ABC would cancel such a quality and entertaining show. I am also wondering why no other network has picked it up.
Hallmark channel thrives on shows like this and now they have even created a second Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel. (A perfect fit!) There would be a very appreciative audience there.
I have been afraid to check and see if Forever was cancelled, because any time there is a really good tv show, it seems to get cancelled. Finally gave in to check. And sure enough I was right. CANCELLED! !!
I hope someone out there is smart enough to bring it back. Other than Supernatural this was the only other show I looked forward to watching.
so sad this show was cancelled really loved it
I truly love this show, I mean, I really loved it. I hate reality shows except for the talent ones, the majority left are either Cop shows or Medical dramas which are all played out . Forever’s concept though unbelievable is very entertaining. I love the chemistry between Henry and Joe and Henry and his son Abe. I was hoping for a little romance in the future, like a Castle and Becket, if you know what I mean. Please don’t cancel this show. I watch very little television. Forever, Chicago Fire, Castle, and Blue Bloods and The Voice whenever it’s… Read more »
Totally agreed. Please don’t cancel the show. Forever is a great show. I love it.
