This romantic comedy revolves around six friends who are at different stages in their lives. They’re married, divorced, newly engaged, and single. The friends are outwardly happy, but secretly questioning if their friends have it better.
Andi (Majandra Delfino) and Bobby Lutz (Kevin Connolly) are happily married with a toddler and another baby on the way, but at times long for the days when they had less responsibility and more fun.
Jules Talley (Brooklyn Decker) and Lowell Peddit (Rick Donald) are high on their passionate new relationship and are engaged. Kate McLean (Zoe Lister-Jones) has a successful career but may have a breakdown when she finds out her last remaining single friend, Jules, just got engaged.
Meanwhile, Will Stokes (James Van Der Beek) is newly single and preaching the bachelor lifestyle — but is still pining for his ex-wife.

Bobby’s gift idea for Andi doesn’t resonate with the friends, so Kate intervenes. Unaware that Val rented out their old house, Will makes an unannounced visit, only to get trapped inside.

What do you think? Do you like the Friends with Better Lives TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Absolutely awful! What CBS needs in the comedy genre is “shows with better writers”…and actors!
It is a travesty to cancel this show. It is the funniest show on TV right now. I guess I will have to boycott CBS. They cancel all the funny shows and add more CSI. Oh and how many Survivors do you need. This is it for me CBS.
There is no funnier show on TV now…this is such a travesty for tv. The actors have a palpable connection which you rarely find on tv these days. The writing is genius and this is a huge mistake for CBS.
I need this comedy!!!!!!!!!!
I loved the cast of this show it’s too bad you didn’t give it a chance.
This show is hilarious. I am pissed it is being cancelled. Can’t this networks give a show with a premise like this a chance. Sick of all of cop and violence shows on. I need comedy and if the networks won’t give it to me I’ll cancel cable and just go to movies!
This is a great show. I laugh my ass off during this show. “Friends with better lives” and “The Big Bang” are the two best shows on TV right now, and all Friends gets (I could not resist) is 13 shows.
This is such a great funny show! Well acted. So many other shows to take off the air before this one! Give it a chance. I look forward to this 30 min… Please reconsider!
The show was cancelled because it never had an African-American on it. To make it on the big networks now, there must be at least one black appearance. I am a supervising producer in Hollywood (not a big deal, only make under $50,000/yr) but this is what I know to be true.
Remember the original “Friends” or “Seinfeld” or “Frazier” or way back to “Cheers”? They could not make it today for lack of African American characters.
Which is ridiculous, I don’t care what the race/sex is of the charchters on a show, as long as they are hot and funny and this show is full of them
Please don’t cancel this show…this is rockingly funny!
FWBL is one of the funniest shows out there. I enjoy this show and look forward to the 30 minutes of laughter. It’s Seinfeld in the year 2014. Please CBS give this one a chance. Don’t cancel
Yeah how bout you cancel 2 and 1/2 men or don’t develop another CSI or NCIS
Yep I agree, am sick and tired of the cop and violence ladened shows and the snarky perverted 2 1/2. FWBL is a great show
Really look forward to this show. It’s funny , and I think well written and acted,
don’t cancel its a funny show
Please don’t cancel this show!! This is a really funny show.
