As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I’m so upset that they CANCELLED the best show ever!!!!!! I hope that another tv show will pick it up like SHOWTIME, HBO or another company. I was so happy thinking there was going to be a season 2 now I find out there isn’t going to be one. Gang Related made my day and love watching it and make not want to watch anything on fox again!!!!
What a bummer. My fam and I LOVED this show. It was so well written and executed.
Can’t believe it was cancelled, one of the best shows i’ve seen in a long time. Show it on another channel or put it on Netflix.
This is completely outrageous and a buffoonish move by the FOX station. Hopefully another station is willing to pick this show up to continue it’s epic ending from the first season.

I loved that show. I was waiting for it to come back and I decided to check on it, and I see here they cancelled it. I will watch it on any other channel for sure!

Bring it back!!! I’ve been impatiently awaiting season 2 and I now see its CANCELLED!?!?! That was one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time.
